Chapter 318 Deliberate

While Judy and Gale were talking, Amelia had quietly reached for a baseball bat that was on the nearby cabinet.

Amelia didn't ponder why there was a baseball bat there; she just wanted to control Judy and prevent her from calling the police.

Judy was hit on the head and fell to the ground, clutching her head. Gale snapped out of his daze and quickly restrained Judy while Amelia found some rope.

Amelia spotted the rope on the table and picked it up, handing it to Gale: "Tie her up, quickly."

These objects and people seemed to be helping Amelia as if by divine intervention, everything was just right.

Judy was tied up, her head still aching from the heavy blow Amelia had dealt.

After securing Judy, Gale felt scared. He was very aware that he was committing a crime.

"Amelia, let's go, leave Birmingham now," Gale urged, trying to lead Amelia away.

It was still a timely escape; Judy wouldn't be found for a while.
