33 || Death Statement

~Ophelia's POV~

I stood shaking as the cops carried his body away from the place.

"Miss, you are needed to make a statement at the station." The man said and I looked at him and nodded my head a little bit hesitantly.

Few minutes later I was in the station, writing down my statement.

"Okay, miss. We will call you if we need you for any information." The officer said and I nodded my head.

I exited the station and signaled to a cab which parked in front of me. I looked at the cab carefully now that I know that I am not safe.

I sat in the passage seat and the driver asked where I was going to. I told him the address and wrapped my hand around myself.

What happened just kept replaying in my head... He was killed. In front of me. And... I could not do anything about it.

The cab stopped and I stepped out. I scanned his QR code and paid him before I walked into the building. This time I looked around even more carefully.
