"Isn't this awkward?" Galen asked as Verena continued to try her best, acting as if she couldn't hear or feel his presence when the two of them had been standing side by side for the past ten minutes. Verena grabbed the last box of freshly picked apples with all her power to get them inside her house. She had to use her whole body and power to grab everything she could in order to get all the delivered goods in her house into her kitchen. Looking at everything that she had arranged on the small table, she sighed."When am I going to finish all these?" she asked. "I don't have that much appetite; I'm not going to finish this even after three weeks." She sighed as she looked back once more. "Yes, now I can see you!" Galen said over the phone as he stared at Zoren's nose through the video call. It took Verena everything to try and bring Zoren out of the tent and leave the show. She could tell he was fuming. Just by the way he clenched his fists, it was intense. Verena kept softly talking him out of it, but he did not stop thinking about turning into his other form. Galen was straight-up scared. He knew what a real werewolf could do and how hot-tempered they could get, especially his former master. And Zoren, being the son of the most powerful being he knew, found it terrifying.However, seeing how he still kept it together, he was a bit surprised. Verena stood still under the umbrella tree where they all met up. Thirty minutes later, she still can't connect with Galen or Zoren. Earlier, it was Galen not picking up his phone, but now she literally can't contact him since he's out of reach. It was stressing her out. Maybe a little too much, since every single person that passed her gave her a weird look.
