Aidan's senses tingled with an odd scent emanating from Amira, but he brushed it off, choosing instead to focus on the urgency of her departure. "Just go," he muttered, his voice strained with tension.

Amira didn't hesitate to comply, hastily making her way towards the door. As she reached the stairs, relief flooded through her, and she let out a heavy sigh. However, her moment of respite was short-lived as Kayla ascended the stairs, her presence like an unexpected obstacle in Amira's path.
