The following day, I woke up early and left immediately as I didn't want to face him. The stay was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with each passing day and I was eagerly counting down the days until the agreed period was over. John didn't visit the company that day because he had some work to do at his place. However, he took the time to inquire about my well-being, which made me feel better.
