Chapter 6

* President's office at the hotel *

Amanda's POV~

"Hello Amanda" Xander's voice sent shivers down my spine. Xander? How is he even here? Am I dreaming? I didn't know what to feel at this point. I had never anticipated seeing Xander so easily again.

"Hello?" He repeated, waving his hands over my face as I stared at him in shock, "You know it's not nice to ignore someone's greeting. What are you teaching these kids?" He asked, about to place his hands on their shoulders, when by pure reflex, I hit his hands away.

"Don't touch them" I said, as my blank stare metamorphosed into a threatening glare. A bit of chattering was beginning to brew up in the office. I knew that I was causing a stir, but what was I supposed to do? I simply can't let him near my kids, especially not after what happened.

"Wow, that's shocking" he responded, with a smug look on his face. I didn't care what he would do as long as my kids are safe from a heartless monster like him. Leaning forward to my ear, he whispered,

"Remember they're my kids too".

Of course I knew that, but I didn't care. I was determined to make sure my kids would be safe from the dangerous world of royal politics.

"I'll be leaving now. Make sure to send me my cheque" I said sternly to him and then looking back at my kids, "Come on babies, let's go home" I said.

Leading them out, I walked out of the office. I knew I wasn't safe as long as he was sure he could find me.

"Why are you moving so fast mommy?" Kayla asked. She had probably noticed the blue grimace on my face. "Are you twahing to wun away from the nice man?" She asked further. What was I gonna tell her? She wasn't gonna understand anyway even if I did tell her anything.

"No Sweetie, mommy has somewhere important to go" I said calmly with a smile as we walked out the front door and over to our car before getting in and zooming off.

In a huge white bedroom, with plaster of Paris ceilings and two chandeliers hanging off it, Xander's mom can be seen having a super steamy encounter with a young man on the huge, bronze-framed canopy bed with gold curtains. Their moans saturate the room as it appears like they are both about to climax.

Melissa's POV~

"Oh yeah!" My moan reached a falsetto-like peak as I felt his warm fluids percolate through my body. This was boring actually. I think having too much sex must have desensitized me, so I never really get to the point of orgasm. In fact, sex had become more of a workout than a pleasurable activity.

"Wait, you're done already?" I asked, with my brows arched upwards in annoyance.

"I'm sorry your highness. I just had to..............*ptchh!*" My slap interrupted him.

"You're all useless" I complained as I got off his body, and stretching to the nightstand besides, picked up a cigarette and my lighter.

" *Spark!*....*spark!*... Hwehhhh" I puffed out some smoke, as I got off the bed and put on my red velvet bathrobe.

"Get out of here and call the next guy" I ordered as I puffed yet another cloud of smoke. They truly were all useless. He was the tenth guy today and yet none of them were any good.

"Yes your highness" he said as he packed his clothes in his hands and scurried off, shutting the door behind him. The next guy better be good.

"Knock! Knock! Knock!" Someone knocked on the door.

"Hmmm, that was fast" I thought, "I sure hope he doesn't finish as fast" I muttered.  "Come in"

Slowly taking off my bathrobe as I watched the door open, a seductive smirk appeared on my face. I liked to intimidate them the moment they walked in. Maybe that's why they seemed to lack confidence, the whole lot of them.

"You better be goo......"

"Your highness!" Astra barged through the door suddenly, her eyes sighting my nude body and turning away, almost as a reflex.

"What in the world...?" I exclaimed as I quickly wrapped my bathrobe around me, "Why didn't you say it was you?" I asked, slightly annoyed at her.

"Well you told me to come in, so I didn't think there was any need.....my apologies, your highness' ' she said with her forearm over her eyes.

"Well, it was my bad truly" I said as I reached for the lighter to light the cigarette again. "So what brings you here?" I asked as I sat on the bed.

"I've got really bad news" she said.

"Well don't just stand there, spill it out" I responded, puffing my cigarette again.

"It's Amanda" she said, "She's back".

I could see the fear in her eyes as she spoke.

"You saw her?" I asked. I was honestly surprised. You'd think that after all the threats I gave her, you wouldn't see her again.

"Yes and she was with Xander and the kids!" She said, "There's no way Xander would want me as long as she's around. I need your help, your highness. I can't live without Xander" she cried as she got down on her knees.

It was honestly quite pathetic seeing such a pretty girl obsessed with a man, even if the man is my son. Well, I certainly would need her obsession if I am to ascend the throne once again.

"Get up sweetie" I said to her, "You know he's all yours as long as I'm around" I assured her, to which she nodded. "Don't worry about Amanda, I'll take care of her" I said while puffing yet another cloud of smoke, "You just relax and trust me, okay?"

"Sure thing, your highness" she said when all of a sudden, a tall chad with only a pair of white boxer briefs on, walked in through the slightly open door.

"You called, your highness?" He asked, interrupting our discussion. A smirk etched up on my face as I saw him. From his chiseled body, I could tell he was the one who would make today special.

"Indeed, do come in" I said to him and then turning back to Astra, "Alright baby, we'll talk about how to get rid of Amanda later, okay? I have some....."

"It's alright, your highness" she interjected, "You don't need to explain further. I'll let you enjoy yourself" she added with a cheeky wink, which made both of us chuckle. "Alright then, I'll be off for now. We'll talk later"

"No problem sweetie" I responded as I watched her walk out the door. She was actually such a nice and understanding girl. She really was more deserving to be my daughter in-law than that disgusting breeder! Oh well.

"Now come over here boy" I said seductively, gesturing with my index finger for him to come closer. This was gonna be one hell of a ride.

*** Later that night, at Amanda's house ***

Amanda hurriedly tries to pack their stuff while her mom follows her about, wondering what's gotten into her and trying to talk it out with her. Meanwhile, the triplets, unfazed by whatever is going on, are in their make believe world where they are super heroes. Mateo and Jermaine have capes on their backs and underpants on their heads as masks, meanwhile Kayla, fancying herself a princess with her tiny flowing pink ballgown, sits with her toys around her little pink table having a tea party. She and her toys are in the middle of a discussion of how classless her brothers are.

Amanda's POV~

"No mom! You won't understand. We have to leave today" I said, trying my best not to yell at my mom, who wouldn't give me a moment's rest as I stuffed my clothes into my luggage bag.

"But why? We've already come so far. Why leave? What about your patrons? The hotels? The restaurants?" She asked.

"I already told you mom, we can start afresh." I said, spanking my palm against my forehead, "I already have a solid reputation. We'll easily thrive even in another pack." I explained.

"But what's wrong with this pack? It's beautiful and nice here" she tried to convince me as I packed the last set of clothes from the wardrobe.

"But the kids......"

"They'll be fine mom!" I accidentally yelled at her. She went silent instantly, a dejected look marring her visage. "Come on mom" I said in a soft voice, as I placed my hands on her shoulders, "I've been taking care of this family since you recovered and I think I've been doing a pretty good job too. I'm doing everything for us, for you. You and the kids mean the world to me, you know that?"

She quietly nodded in agreement.

"So trust me, please, okay?" I said, "I promise I'll explain everything to you later" I added.

"Alright baby. I'll trust you" she said with a warm smile on her face as she placed her palm on my cheek. She really was the greatest mom in the world.

"Thank you Mom" I said as I smiled and hugged her. Right in the middle of our hug.....

"Ding! Dong!" The door bell rang. How could that be? I and my mom, looked skeptically at each other. It was nighttime. Who would want to visit by this time?

My mom and I rushing down the floating stairs, head into the living room where the triplets can be seen engaged in their imaginary worlds.

Heading to the door, I looked through the fish-eyed lens only to see Xander outside. What was he doing in front of my house?

"Ding! Dong!" The doorbell interjected my contemplation. I didn't want to open.

"Perhaps I should stay quiet and act like nobody's at home" I thought for a while, before the incessant laughter of Jermaine and Mateo suddenly saturated the house. What is wrong with those boys?! There was no way to hide now.

"Keep it down you two" I said to them in a whispery voice, as they paused their pillow fight.

"These two are going to be the end of me" I thought as I smacked my forehead with my palm.

Having no other choice, I opened the door. On seeing me, a smirk appeared on his face to which I subconsciously reciprocated with a glare. I really disdained seeing him.

"Good evening Amanda"
