Chapter 18

Kate bowled her eyes out after she went home.

Michael should be distressed for her, but seeing that her face is such a mess.

He can't help himself but to laugh out loud.

"Haha... I'm so sorry-It's just that-haha-haha-I"Michael's words always were cut off with a laugh as Kate sniffed and blew out her nose.

Kate looked at him after that.

Michael finished up his laugh as he also looked at Kate seriously.

The air around them was solemn once again as their expression was very serious.

"I want to break off our fate" Kate started on saying.

Michael only looked at her then picked up his phone from his pocket and dialed a number on his own accord and gave it to Kate.

The cell phone rang as Kate looked at the number that Michael was calling.

Swallowing up her saliva, she gathered up to say first after the call was connected.

"He cheated on me dad," Kate said.

"..."

Silence.

A while later.

"Hello?" the other line of the phone call said.

Kate went silent but she still responded.

"Hi dad" her tone
