Chapter Seven

ARIA.

After the incident at the garden, I felt so scared and desperate to escape the Packhouse. The prospect of being abused and used like a plaything, whenever and wherever they wanted sent chills down my spine and I knew I had to find a way to escape as soon as possible, or I would be doomed.

But Alpha Killian seemed to have noticed my intent, and that was why escaping the Palace at this point was like wishing for the moon.

Within my few days here at the Packhouse, I had been able to discover several routes that led out of the Packhouse, and this morning, I had tried escaping through every single route but there were guards stationed in each of them, and they all refused to let me pass.

"Please return to your chambers, Luna." They would normally demand sternly.

It was clear they were under Alpha Killian's orders, and I couldn't go back to confront him about this new development for fear of being used yet again. Sitting in my room and staring vacantly into space, I listlessly resigned
