Chapter 19: Coffee

Selina’s POV:

While driving my way back to Harold’s Villa I realized that I can use Gerald’s invitation to show him that I am now married to his Uncle.

That’s why when I finally came home, I waited for Harold to come home and tell him about the engagement party. And then, to make sure that he will agree, I cooked a tasty dinner for him.

When Harold got home, he went straight to the kitchen. I smiled when he sat down on the chair. Of course I acted so kind in front of him.

“I smelled your dinner, you have a favor to ask, yeah?” he asked. Like he already read my mind.

“You already know me,” I chuckled. “Come, let’s eat first.”

He agreed and I served him with the food that I made. Just like what I expected, he really liked my food. The last time I cooked for him, he denied that he liked it but of course, I know he just wanted to insult me that time.

“How was it?” I asked.

“Delicious as ever,” he replied.

“Really? You despised my food last time.”

He shrugged and then continued eating.
