131. Troublemaker triplets

Acadia was crying loudly when they returned. As a baby who didn't usually fuss when someone else was holding her, it seemed that the baby was angry when she woke up and it wasn't her mom by her side.

Rosemary bounced her on her arm, trying to stop the crying. She breathed a sigh of relief as she saw Kiara. "Oh, thank goodness you've come."

She handed the baby to her mother. Kiara ran the tip of her fingers over Acadia's nose, which was red because of her weeping. She knew that the baby wasn't hungry because she had breastfed her before, so she must have cried when she woke up and felt an unfamiliar figure with her.

And sure enough, as if instantly recognizing that her mom was back, Acadia's crying subsided. Her little fingers tugged on Kiara's hair, making her chuckle. "Are you looking for mommy? Relax, my dear; Mom is here now."
