According to Mignon McLaughlin, a successful marriage requires falling in love multiple times, always with the same person. However, this does not apply to me because I have done everything in my power to ensure the success of my marriage.

I had done everything that could change Dominic's opinion of me, but none of my efforts were successful. He still sees me as the same person.

I did not understand why he was behaving in such a manner toward me. I was at a loss to understand what I had done wrong to earn such venomous hatred from him.

Why is it exactly that? I questioned myself daily with this inquiry, but regardless of the number of times I did so, I was unable to find an answer to it.
