Chapter 46. A Thrilling Game

Clarabelle came into her room. She carried a tray full of Jordan's favorite foods. She wanted to make Jordan comfortable after unwinding. Since arriving, Jordan hadn't wanted to eat. He just asked for a drink then he went to sleep again. Jordan was in bed most of the day. Several times Clarabelle looked at him, he seemed so sound asleep.

"Jordan ..." Clarabelle placed the tray on the nightstand next to the bed. She sat on the edge of the bed, gently rocking Jordan's arm to wake him up.

Jordan moved, he turned and opened his eyes. “Oh, hey, Babe…” Immediately Jordan sat up. He smelled his favorite steak.

"I brought food. You haven't eaten since you got home. Look, it's still warm," Clarabelle said. She held the food close to Jordan and placed it in front of Jordan on the bed.

“Hmm… it must be yummy. Thank you, Babe.” Jordan came closer and gave Clarabelle a sweet kiss.

"Eat. Then you can talk when you're ready." Clarabelle saw that Jordan was fresher.

“Yeah… okay,” Jordan said. He took
