Jared laughed as if he just heard the funniest joke in the world. Give it back! What a joke. He eyed her body again with the same evil fire in his eyes.
"Be my woman and everything will be yours again."
"Dream on. If you don't give it back I'll make you both pay," She threatened.
Jared snorted, "How will you do that? Your brother has very little time to live. Do you value your pride more than his life?"
Ali felt like a bone got stuck In Her throat and she couldn't refute it. what would she do now? Be this man's mistress and allow her stepmother and father to use her so heartlessly.
"I thought you were interested in Cheyenne, how did you switch interests so suddenly? Did Mary put you up to this?"
The rage in her eyes which had been doused by his words returned and she glared at him with even more intensity.
"Wait until I am done with Joe's operation I'll come back to haunt you". She said and walked away.
She hailed a cab and went to look for her father. As she stepped into the house she found Mary sitting on the sofa while hugging Cheyenne. It seemed as though she was crying.
Seeing Ali back at the house when she had just left a few hours ago made Mary stand up and rush to her, "Have you changed your mind,"
"Where is Lucas?" Ali asked addressing her father by his first name. She didn't come to hear Mary's nonsense but to recover her money and property.
Just then she saw Lucas coming down the stairs, he was stressed to go out and Ali knew he was going to the casino again. Since her mother's death, he has frequented there as if it were his second home.
"What did you do with my brother's property? give me the money for the one you sold to Jared," she demanded going straight to the point.
Lucas wore a confused expression on his face as if he didn't understand what Ali was talking about. "Property, which property are you talking about? Didn't you seize all your mother's documents?"
Ali glared at her father for playing dumb with her. She knew she wouldn't be getting the money now and that she was wasting her time arguing with them.
Cheyenne who had been told by her mother, that Ali moved out glared at her with hatred, "The property is in your husband's name already, just talk to Jared and he will agree to give you money for your brother's treatment. Why are you so stubborn? At this rate, you will not only lose those properties but also your precious brother."
Ali bit her lips drawing blood, she nodded her head, and Cheyenne and Mary assumed she had agreed but her next voice plunged them into despair.
She said, "Since you like men older than you, I will give you one later. Just pray I raise the money for Joe or all of us will go to hell together," she turned and left after that.
She hailed a cab and requested to be taken to the hospital. On her way, she came across a club along the street.
The exterior of the club was designed extravagant. Luxurious cars parked around and inside the club and there were bouncers at the door.
Ali suddenly stopped the car and stepped out in front of the club, her feet moved and brought her into the club premises. She couldn't even tell why she was there when she was supposed to be looking for money.
When she realized herself and where she was, she turned to walk away but halted when she saw a man dressed in a blue suits pacing back and forth while talking to someone over the phone.
"Damn it. where is Lilly? Gerald was here already and the party would soon begin, I told her not to leave because she would be serving the man but she ran off with an unknown person. How do I fix this?" The man roared frustration and fear in his eyes.
Ali stood behind him eavesdropping on his conversation. When she heard him say he was offering 3 million for whoever would replace the Lilly girl, Ali gulped.
Three million for just a night. Was this an opportunity, she didn't know. Her phone beeped and she looked at the time that was moving faster than she thought.
Although she was not willing her brother's condition was pushing her to take a dangerous risk. If her company finds out about this, she will be fired.
She didn't have the luxury to think about it as the man was making his way back inside the club with his face looking angry.
"Please wait," Ali called out and ran after the man.
The man turned, his expression cold but when he saw Ali he became dumbstruck.
Ali was very lovely to look at, with a 6'7 feet height and a well-proportioned body that would make any male unable to move their eyes. Her porcelain skin was smooth and her delicate appearance would make people stand up to fight for her.
"Hello lovely, I am Barry..."
"Forget the formality, I can replace Lilly for you," Ali cut him off as she hurriedly said what she wanted to before she ended up changing her mind. She saw the man stare at her in surprise before narrowing his eyes.
She bit her lips, "I overheard your conversation on the phone, I didn't mean to eavesdrop but you were quite loud."
Barry made an o sound before nodding. He asked, "How can I trust you? You haven't even told me your name yet," he looked at her skeptically.
"I can't tell you because, for some reason, I am not a spy or whatever you are thinking. I am just forced to do this to raise money for my brother's treatment, he doesn't have time, and out of the three days I am given, a day is gone. I don't want to lose him, he is the only one I have left, Please help me,"
Barry sympathized with her, but he was unable to accept her. Not just any man, but Gerald Laverock is the man he was referring to earlier. Ali is a novice, and judging by the innocent expression on her face, he assumes that she is unaware of the risks. Inexperienced women are not Gerald's thing. Worst of all, the man was rough with his women, and if he were to handle this one, he doubted her walking step would remain as elegant. "Are you a virgin?" he asked. Ali turned red at the question, but she gave a nod. Barry shook his head, ready to send her away, when his phone rang and he realized it was his assistant. "Sir Gerald's face does not look good; he is the only one without service, and I am afraid he will not accept any other woman," the assistant said nervously. Barry cursed and looked at Ali again before saying, "Tell Madam Joan I am bringing a new girl." After hanging up, he asked Ali to follow him. He led her to the top floor, where the big shots were located. Ali was
Ali held her breathe under the man's hostile glare. She began to fidget and had almost stood up to flee if Barry had not interfered and said, "Lilly ran off to god knows where and I thought you could use a change of service. This one is fresh and new." "You should know I have preferences Barry, don't you like your head anymore,'' Gerald threatened the man but his eyes was fixed on the scared kitten that looked like she wanted to bolt from the room. His body kept reacting and by the time he realized it, his member was already turning hard. He cursed, "what is wrong with you?" He asked, closing his eyes. Barry felt sweat trickle down his spine at the tone of his voice. But Gerald wasn't talking to him but was asking himself that. Ali cautiously moved away, wanting to escape however Gerald caught her hand and dragged her back causing her to end up in his arms, "where do you think you are going?" He asked his voice straining. Ali grimaced and tried to breathe out the words "You do
Although the pain from between her legs made it unable for her to think, Ali still heard the man's question. She looked at him helplessly not knowing how to respond. The man already knows that she is a virgin but he still asked her that. Her silence angered Gerald more and he asked again, enunciating each word, "I..asked..are..you ..a.. virgin?" "Yes," Ali whimpered, stifling her cry. "Damn," Gerald cursed. His body trembled slightly causing his member to push into Ali. He felt Ali squeeze him inside her and cursed again. Ali was silently praying that he will pull out and send her out but he did not, instead he looked into her eyes with a fire that threatened to burn her flesh and soul. Like a crazed man Gerald thrust into Ali. For an unknown reason that left him stunned he couldn't control himself with the woman. However seeing the tears that slide down Ali's cheek, he tried to control his strength and movement. Ali huffed and whimpered. Gerald was too into it that all he
"Hello. I know you don't remember me, you must have forgotten about the incident, but I can't since you are my lifesaver," Harriet said, her gaze as she looked at Ali was filled with admiration and love. Ali stared at the woman confused before looking at Dr Wood to hear him say, "Madam Harriet said you saved her a few weeks ago when she collapsed on the way. She came here looking for you." The memory of the accident appeared in Ali's mind as recognition came on her. "O it's you. How are you? Did you get proper treatment?" She posed the questions, one after the other. Harriet laughed, she was correct about the girl. The concern in her eyes was genuine, and it erased every doubt that the younger woman approached her with motives. "I am fine now thanks to you. I heard what happened to you, hence I have been here waiting for your arrival," Harriet had a look of worry on her face as she looked at Ali's eyes. Ali smiled bitterly, she shook her head, not wanting to think about the s
Vivian looked at her niece's face and her heart clenched with sorrow. When her sister was still alive, Ali never had anything to worry about. But after she died and Lucas married Mary, her life changed, and she was forced to cater for her and her brother. Lucas was a bastard, true and through, and she regretted letting her sister marry him. If only her sister had left with the man she loved, then she would still have been alive. She brought her hand forward to caress Ali's cheeks, and said, "You don't have to cry anymore. Everything will get better from here on, Joe will recover, and you will get the promotion you are looking for." "Until that scumbag is fired from his position, I doubt I will be given any sort of compensation for my hardwork. I am not even thinking about a promotion," Ali picked up the bag and began to remove the things inside. "You can't give up. Miracles can happen," Vivian advised. 'Yeah right, miracles that come late' Ali thought, her expression turning
The operation was a success and Ali couldn't help the smile that refused to leave her face. As she watched her brother sleeping soundly on the bed. Madam Harriet proved true to her words and paid for her brother to be moved to a VIP ward. The room and facilities were something an average person could not afford for even a night. Her phone buzzed in her pocket, prompting her to take a look at it. A scowl quickly formed on her face when she saw the message dropped in their office official group chat. It was a notice to her to finish her presentation and submit it tomorrow, because the CEO was reviewing it. Ali switched off the phone with a triumphant smirk on her lips. She devised a plan right there on how to deal with her scumbag superior. The presentation he is eagerly waiting for will never come, and if he can't provide a suitable replacement by twelve tomorrow afternoon, his salary will be cutoff as punishment. The image of his sour expression as he gets scolded tomorrow w

"Grandma, you can't make decisions about my marriage. You can't even force Gerald to get married, he is older," Martin cried out, not liking what his grandmother was planning. "Since you are protesting, let's start with something simple," Harriet smiled sweetly, a smile that brought goosebumps on his skin. Martin's phone beeped, he checked it and nearly fell off the sofa he was sitting on. It was a notice from his bank, informing him that his accounts had been blocked. "No! No! Grandma what are you doing?' Martin exclaimed. His hands trembled as he held his phone up to check it again. "You planned this since a long time ago, right?" He whimpered like a sick dog. Losing his international funds made him feel sick, he could even see himself falling into coma. "Yes. Get married to the woman I choose and everything will be yours again," Harriet resumed stroking her cat. "I will think about it. But please grandma don't go freezing my credit cards unless you plan on losing your gr
