Mandy's mother didn't want anything to do with her. This shocked Mandy because she couldn't think of anything that might make her mother not want to see her. The private investigator demanded for his payment but before Mandy paid him, she asked if she could have the address or phone number of her mother. The Private investigator could only provide her address as that was the only thing he knew.

Mandy made it a point of duty to visit her mother soon, if not for anything but to find out the reason why she left her at such a young age.
