I stare at Amilia’s phone number since this morning after breakfast. I couldn’t have the heart to break the news to her. She was so excited yesterday.

And now I have to ruin those expectations.

I gathered enough courage to finally swipe her phone number. A few rings later, her voice followed.

“Dylan, hi!” Her soft angelic voice rang through my ears.
