Chapter 14: A Deadly Promise

~Next day

6:30 a.m.

Evelyn's P.O.V.

Scorching rays of the sun burned my skin waking me up from my deep slumber. I squinted my eyes a little. 

Oh God!!!

I saw Dylan hugging me while my head was on his chest and his arms were wrapped around me tightly. I panicked and pushed him a little that seem to have woken him up. He looked at me and I immediately pushed him back. I got up but my blood froze when my eyes landed on the shreds of dress which were scattered all along the floor.

My eyes widened in horror. I immediately looked down only to find the front part of my dress was torn. My cleavage was on display but it was a relief to see that I was still covered. I quickly covered my chest with my hands. Dylan got up from the bed and tried to touch me but I screamed on fear. 

Evelyn: NO! STAY BACK!!

He flinched by my raging growl
