Obsession

Emmaline's POV

Shawn and I didn't speak through out the rest of the journey. He was explaining things to me but suddenly he withdrew and never uttered a single word after then.

We Landed at the airport and it was dark. There was a Rolls-Royce waiting for us.

“Get in." Was the first word he had said to me in hours.

I obeyed and I got in, we drove for what seemed like an eternity and when we got to the white stoned mansion, there were signs of daylight from the setting sun.

“Shawn!." Someone screamed, I was shocked by the sound of the voice.

It was a seductive shrill, like that of a siren but it was very loud.

“Darcy." Shawn said with a smile, it was weird to see him smile softly, he had a beautiful smile.

“And, this your wife?." She asked rushing towards me. She was about the same age as me.

“She's more beautiful in person, she looks like a barbie doll. I couldn't sleep through out the night, welcome home brother." She said wrapping her hand tightly around his waist in a hug.
