Living in sorrow

LAURA POV

I was curious about what she had seen last night. Why was my master behaving the way he did? What kind of nightmare could have possibly made him twist and turn on the bed like that?

I didn't care about him or his troubles, I hated him. But I really wanted to know what was happening. I had always been a curious right from childhood, and it had gotten me into trouble several times.

“Laura, I brought your food” Paulina entered my room carrying a bowl of hot soup. I gagged when I smelt the concoction.

“What is that? I'm not eating that” I folded my arms and pouted. Paulina smiled and dropped the bowl beside the bed. She sat next to me and gently inspected the wounds on my back.

“Ouch, that hurts!” I pouted when Paulina touched her wound.

“Oh, sorry dear. But how do you expect the wounds to heal without the proper medication?” She asked and I hissed out softly.

“Heal, What's the point? My master is going to go ahead and inflict more wounds anyway.” I rolled my eyes. Then I remem
