There wasn’t a lot of things Charlie disliked but being embarrassed in public would definitely top those charts.
she was sure she had booked a reservation at this stupid restaurant now they were saying they were fully booked.
She turned to where Mr.Black stood not far away from the chaos that she felt she had now created but in a way so far away from it.
He glanced at her and she bit her lips dreading the fact that she would have to tell him that she hadn’t quite booked the reservation she thought she had.
she walked over to him, wishing she could get swallowed by the ground or she could disappear into thin air.
Charlie knew he would tease her but that wasn’t what she dreaded most.
He would now think she was some incapable woman who couldn’t get anything properly done without a man.
Why had she insisted on the date?
