*****Author's POV*****

"Are you really going to do that?" Erika asked Zayn for the untenth time as they both walked into the meeting room where all the elders were gathered.

Zayn hummed in reply, patiently putting up with his annoying sister. She finally kept quiet as they took their seats before the elders.

The elders stood up from their seats to bow in respect and sat back down afterwards.

Zayn looked at everyone before he cleared his throat.

"Lycan Elders, you must be wondering why I called you all here," he paused, then continued, "It's because of my mother's health issue. Unfortunately, we found the culprit to be me and my brother's mate, so we can't accept her. She tried to kill the Lycan queen, which I'm pretty sure y'all know the consequences?" Zayn asked and watched as they all nodded.

Erika decided to speak up next, "Elders, my brothers can't accept someone who tried to kill our mother, who knows what she'll do if she eventually becomes your Luna,"
