With the breath of the Council now on my neck, my position within my own pack is becoming increasingly stark.

Never before in the history of werewolves has a fully mated wolf appeared to have a second mate. Once marked and mated, it should be final. But the Moon Goddess has clearly decided otherwise today, and everyone in this room will have to come to terms with that.
