I had spent the entire day looking for the perfect outfit to wear on my date with Jake.. actually i wouldn't consider it as a date per day. Just a simple nighout with a friend. Well that's how I saw Jake. I had finally considered him as just a friend even though I didn't like him that much before. I could have ignored him but because of Peter, we became friends. Again, there was a sort of kindness about him. A side that I had found to be likeable... Firstly he was friendly with all the cooking and cleaning staff that worked at the school. Secondly, he ate food that was offered at school even though he could afford to buy a meal at a restaurant. Thirdly, my mom liked him and he was respectful. I put on my new outfit. A black hem tshirt with lace details on the sleeves with a black jeans. My mom helped braid my hair on the side then curled the rest of it.

I felt alive. As I was finishing off my makeup, I heard a car park outside the house. I knew by then that Jake had arrived
