CHAPTER FIVE

Adriano's POV;

I got out of the Limo by correcting my suit properly. As soon as I walked inside the restaurant, David announced my arrival.

Walking towards my grandfather I saw the same people I saw earlier outside the restaurant while I was having a conference video call with my important employees in the Limo. They all stood up to greet me.

'Wow, I guess they've heard about me, who wouldn't?

I love it when people respect me, that's what power does.'

I shook hands with the elderly man who looked like he was in his late forties and early fifties, and then I shook the gorgeous blonde woman with blue eyes like that of Rebecca's beside him and then the little boy beside the woman. And then there was a tiny fragile girl behind them and I took a step forward to see her properly and then I was amused by her beauty.

She had a perfect tiny face that would fit in my palms perfectly. She had very reddish kissable plump lips and a short straight nose like a Chinese. And most of all she had an incredible curved body that I would like to bend over and fuck raw and mercilessly. She nervously took a step closer to me and she stood surprisingly short compared to me. As I stared straight into her brown eyes I completely forgot about Rebecca's blue eyes. I noticed her hands itching to grab onto a part of the dress she wore.

"Hi," she said sharply and sat back down. 'Wow, do I intimidate this little girl?'

My grandfather cleared his throat "Please let's all get seated,"

I sat down on a chair close to my grandfather staring at my 'bride' who was sitting opposite me.

"Good evening Mr. Altamira. I'm Enis and I'll be your waiter for the evening. Here is your menu, I will be back in a minute to take your orders." My eyes shifted from the beauty in front of me to the guy that was hovering over the table standing right beside her. He was dressed in a black and white serving suit, he also had an annoying smile sprouting on his face.

'I hate this guy. Why is he smiling down at my beauty? 'my beauty?' seriously? I hate both of them.'

I felt like getting up from my chair to beat him up. But I controlled my anger because of my grandfather and our guests. I wouldn't want to see a very dark side of me I buried thirteen years ago.

"Gianna dear, give your order," my grandfather said too quickly to the girl. 'Gianna. Nice name.'

"Ummm, I will have one plate of Jambalaya, crawfish pie, and banana java smoothie, that's all," Gianna said generously smiling at the useless waiter standing in front of us.

"Okay, order taken. Next person please." The waiter said writing on a tab.

Everyone including my grandfather gave their orders. When it was my turn I just ordered my usual dish 'Fajitas and blueberry lavender smoothie' because I don't have a particular favorite food since I'm not a foodie and also I love everything with lavender. The dishes were placed on the table. I dug on my food because I'm not that much of a talker, and so was Gianna as we were the main source of conversation as all the questions asked by her parents and my grandfather were directed to both of us. 'She doesn't talk that much just like me'.

Each time I looked up at her, I would see her also staring at me. She was fiddling with the fork in her hand for quite some time now. 'Her hands are really small and I don't think they would fit around my cock. But it would be a nice sight to see her mouth wrapped around it.

I kept staring at her trying to drink in her immaculate beauty and features. We both stared at each other in silence until her fork fell off her hand. As she bent down to pick it up, her round ass curved perfectly in her black dress. 'Why did she do that?'. I knew it, she was like the other girls who like to throw themselves at me. She's indeed a gold digger.

"Okay, so Adriano and I suggest that the wedding should take place seven days from today." I looked at my grandfather as he spoke out of nowhere.

"Isn't that too early? I mean they just met today. Don't you think we should give them more time to get to know each other?" Gianna's mother said concernedly.

"No, I don't think so, Leslie. The both of them like each other. I mean they have been staring at each other every now and then since Adriano got here. And Adriano needs to get back to Venice as soon as possible because he has a lot of things to cover up, and I would like him to go back to Italy only with his wife. They will get to know each other better in Italy as husband and wife, you don't have to worry yourselves." He assured them.

'Get to know each other better? You have no idea what awaits her in Italy, grandpa.' I smirked.

"Okay but we will need to choose the wedding venue, the wedding cake, and the wedding gown. And that won't be possible in just seven days." Gianna's father said.

My grandfather chuckled, "You worry too much Aaron. Have you forgotten that I am an Altamira, and Altamiras don't lack anything. You don't have to worry about all what you just listed because they are all in order. Gianna will get her wedding gown a day before the wedding."

After eating and listening to my grandfather chit-chat with them. He got up abruptly which made me jump out of my trance.

"Va tutto bene, Nonno?" I asked.

(Is everything okay, Grandpa?)

"Si,"

(Yes)

"Vai a parlare con la ragazza e sii gentile. Nonvoglio error." my grandfather patted my shoulder and smiled at me as we walked out to our cars.

(Go and talk to the girl and be nice. I want no errors)

"Aaron, do you mind if I come over the weekend to check up on you at your workplace?" My grandfather asked, following Aaron to his car.

Gianna and I were the only ones left standing beside the Limo. We stood in silence for a few seconds until she started walking towards her parents. 'I guess it's too awkward for her'.

"Wait," I said, cutting through the silence and she stopped in her tracks.

"Come," I commanded her, almost mechanically. I leaned back on the Limo and looked at her in anger. She took a few steps closer to me and took two steps away from me again standing perfectly poised, looking at the ground. 'She is a shy type of girl.'

"Why did you agree to this marriage proposal?" I asked simply because I didn't know what else to say.

"I wish I could ask you the same," she said, dodging my question.

"Why?" I asked again scarcely.

"I have always dreamed of getting married in my twenties. And father accepted the proposal probably because he trusts your grandfather," she said, straightly.

"You're lying," I said outright and her mouth dropped open as she looked at me in disbelief.

"No, I'm not. My father knows what is best for me and you're a very famous billionaire. So which girl would let this golden opportunity pass her? This is a dream come true opportunity." She finished sharply averting her to the ground again.

I raised an eyebrow at her, feeling disappointed that a tiny little girl like her is nothing but a gold digger.

I stood up and walked close to her, bending over to her level as she was so short. Leaning down, I grabbed her chin and pulled her face upward.

"Look at me," I demanded.

"What is it?" She asked, looking me dead in the eyes.

"Tell your father to call off the engagement as soon as you get home because you and I cannot be together. I'm too perfect for a lame girl like you. We're not even in the same status." I spat on her face and she nodded like an obedient girl.

And for some odd reason, I wanted to kiss her.

I motioned for her to smile and lead the way as we walked over to her parents. I saw the surprise on the faces of her parents and my grandfather as we stood in front of them, but she paid them no heed and got into her dad's car. I bid them goodbye and got into the Limo.

**********

My grandfather kept looking at me throughout the drive back to the mansion. I knew he had something to say.

"Vai avanti, on no," I murmured as I adjusted how I was sitting. I hate sitting in a Limousine because it's very uncomfortable, I couldn't sit straight.

(Go ahead, Grandpa).

He said gently as he looked at me straight in the eyes.

(I know this is a lot to take on but I want you to know that it's for your good. I'll never do anything to destroy my family or your success. Believe me she is a good girl. And I know you have a girl you're currently fucking but I hope you end things and settle down for real. Your dad Randolfo settled down with your mum Tana when he was just eighteen years old and your mum was sixteen years old. So that's why you need to settle down too with a good girl).

'What does he mean by 'end things?' He's seriously got to be kidding me because I'm not leaving Rebecca for a gold digger.'

I quickly masked my angry face into the perfect amount of fake agreement and nodded my head 'yes' to him.

The driver suddenly pulled the car over. I quickly got out of the car and went upstairs fuming in anger. I needed time to clear my head because of the conversation I had with my grandfather a few moments ago in the car. I'm very deranged right now.

I sat on the bed looking at the wall, thinking for a brief moment as to why my grandfather would put me in this situation. Of all the celebrities in the whole world, he chose a commoner's daughter to be my wife.

'Why does Grandpa have to do this? I promise to settle down someday but just not this way. Like what the hell? I'm just thirty-two. At this point, I felt like a girl because the only solution to this problem was to elope with Rebecca because she was the only girl I love. I mean why a little girl one decade younger than me? She is a gold digger like every other girl but my Rebecca is different. Rebeccaā€¦. I need to call her.'

I searched for my phone in my pocket but I found it in my suitcase on the bed. I quickly dialed Rebecca's number to tell her about the sudden decision of my grandfather.

"Hey, baby,"

"Hey, cutie pie," I heard her giggle on the other side

"How was the trip, baby?"

"It was pretty exhausting but I'm good,"

"Okay, where are you currently?"

"I'm in Florida right now,"

"Okay, but I'm also not in Italy right now. I'm on my way to Paris, a friend of mine is getting married in two days. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about it. I was going to tell you but then your grandfather's call interrupted,"

"No problem baby, I'm fine with it. Extend my greetings," I smirked. I'm a very possessive man, so I like it when my woman tells me about her every move.

"Rebecca,"

"Yes,"

"There's something I gotta tell you about,"

"Is it about your grandfather? Is he okay?"

"Yeah, he is alright. It's about why he asked me to come to Florida."

"Go on baby, you're scaring me. I know that something is bothering you, you've never called me by my name ever since we started dating. What's wrong?"

"My grandfather has already fixed my marriage with a girl one decade younger than me. And the wedding is to happen in seven days from today" I let out.

"WHAT? YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED TO SOMEONE ELSE. WHY? I THOUGHT YOU SAID I'M THE ONLY GIRL YOU'LL EVER LOVE. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME AD? AND OF ALL GIRLS, YOU CHOSE A LITTLE GIRL WHO'S NOT EVEN LEGIT?" she screamed.

"Relax baby, I promise that would not be a reason for us to split okay? It won't be a big deal, I promise." I assured her.

"What the hell is wrong with you Ad? You're getting married to someone else and you got the nerves to say that it's not a big deal? How on earth would we get married then?"

"You already know how much I love you, baby. I will kill and die for you babe. And about the gold digger, she will never mean anything to me, like hell, I don't even know what she looks like. You're my queen babe, you'll always be. I will marry her just for my grandfather's sake. He has never asked me for anything in my life, I will give him what he wants and as for the girl, I will make her life hell until she gives up on the marriage by herself." I said, smirking.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes baby, I'm hundred percent sure."

"You know I have trust issues when it comes to men. You're the first man I'd ever trust. Don't break my heart and trust baby. Don't fall for her, okay?" She said calmly.

"I would never break us, I promise on my late parents. I will make her life a living nightmare. I will make her leave our lives all by herself. Just please trust me, baby,"

"Okay, baby. I trust you on this because I know you're a man of your word. I won't be coming back to Italy anytime soon. I might come back after a month."

"Why? Is it about the marriage?"

"Yes and no baby. Yes, because your family members would be there for the wedding and we both know that your sister and your grandfather don't like me, so I don't want to be treated like a stranger in front of the little girl. And no because I need time away to digest all this in my head. It's just for a month, I promise,"

"Okay, just be careful and be safe, okay? I love you,"

"I love you too, very much. I miss you. Good night" She kissed me in the air from the other side.

"Good night baby."
