Chapter One.

One thing I never cared about was what people thought about me. I never bothered to care about people's perception on how I lived my life, I knew whatever they said about me was out of petty jealousy. I had the perfect life, the perfect family, and I carried myself with an horrendous amount of high-esteem — which strung people badly to the point of thinking I was just a spoiled, arrogant, proud princess of the kingdom of Trinigad. A brat who had the world set at the edge of her feet.

Well they weren't wrong. . .but that didn't mean they were right either.

I was the princess of Trinigad, with the perfect family. My father was a powerful werewolf, probably the most dynamic and congent werewolf in the kingdom. He was Alpha king Benetton. My father was an authoritative man and due to that he was feared by the people he ruled; but I didn't fear him. He was my only family, the one person I loved the most in my entire world. He was my doting father, who gave me everything, even things I never really asked for.

My father showed me love beyond what I could have ever asked for and my father never said no to me, and that was a big factorial as to why I was standing at the front of a large mirror in my chambers, being dressed up by a bunch of three female lowlifes who were privileged to work for me in the palace of Trinigad.

"You look very stunning today, Princess Annalisa," Heather, the head of the lowlifes that worked underneath me complimented my appearance. "Very beautiful, as usual."

I smirked without saying a word. I needed not to waste my spit on them, they didn't worth my words, time, and attention. Besides, It wasn't like I needed their say on how I looked. I knew I looked beautiful, I could see it in the mirror, I didn't need to be told by mere servants.

Being the only Omega in the kingdom of Trinigad, I was the fairest, most beautiful, and an exclusive individual. In short, I was the most important person in the kingdom, with importance that seemed to trump that of the king.

Casting my gaze upon myself through the mirror, I couldn't help the swelling feeling of pride that ran through my chest. Dressed in a beautiful red ball gown with embroidered lace appliques and a ruched rubber by the waist, I knew my beauty was unrivaled, and indubitably I was aware my dearest prince awaiting my entrance in fathers throne room would be blown away by my appearance. Which would leave him with no choice but to fall on one knee and ask for my hand in marriage.

My cheeks flushed at that thought.

Once Heather wore the White Opera-length gloves over my hand, the rest of the two maidens whose names I couldn't be bothered to remember helped me wear a ring on my finger and the expensive gold-Vintage necklace over my neck. My father got the necklace for me two months back, as my twentieth birthday present, and I hadn't gotten the chance to wear it ever since then.

"We're done, Princess Annalisa," Heather said, taking a step back along with the other maidens, "Your father and Alpha Alexander would be expecting your arrival."

I smiled. "Very well then."

Looking into the mirror, I gave myself a once-over, and gracious cessi! I looked out of this world, like the ethereal being I was. My red hair which was tied to the back with a red robin did well to accentuate my baby blue eyes and red ball gown. And the birthmark on my forehead was one of my prominent features as an Omega. It was crescent moon shaped, adding more beauty to my already beautiful face.

I tore my gaze away from the mirror, and with the three maidens behind me I walked out of my room, headed towards the throne room. As I approached the throne room, the knights announced my arrival and I was allowed entrance. Aside from the guards, the only people in the room were my father, his Beta — Peruvian, Alpha Alexander and four new faces I wasn't acquainted with. I supposed the faces were followers of Alpha Alexander.

My father was seated on the cathedra, and next to him sat Alpha Alexander. A huge grin adorned fathers face as I approached him. The throne room was mile-long, but resplendent, and after climbing a ridiculous number of stairs I eventually reached where Father and my soon-to-be Alpha was. I bowed in courtesy to them. As I did, I could feel all eyes in the throne room on me, probably astounded at my beauty.

I smirked. Who could blame them? It was only natural. Besides those working for my father, I knew most of them hadn't come across my beauty. Not even Alpha Alexander.

It was our first official meeting.

For as long as I could remember, I have had a crush on Alpha Alexander. I was sixteen when I first set eyes on him. It was love at first sight, and I remember seeing him for the first time, he visited on ceremonial grounds after succeeding his father as the Alpha of his pack. The white pack. I watched him through the window of my chambers and I saw him worthy of being my prince. Not only was he handsome and physically built, but there was something that pulled me to him. Something about his aura that spoke power. He was more than capable of being the next Alpha king after my father.

Alpha Alexander stood from where he sat and walked towards me. With every step he took, the air thinned around me, my heart beat got faster and breathing got more and more difficult. He soon got to me and extended his hand. I took it. My soft slender hand was wrapped in his huge masculine one, and I loved the feeling of solidarity it threw to me, and when his lips touched the skin on my hand I felt my skin erupt with goosebumps. The good type.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, my lady," he said, raising his head up to meet my gaze. He was the most beautiful man I'd ever seen, yet, he wasn't smiling. Actually I'd never seen him smile, but he was beautiful. His stern gaze had a weakening effect on me, such a rigid demeanor yet so soft. His eyes gazing directly into my soul like they were speaking to me; It was a pity I was no mind reader. "You are the most beautiful creature I have ever seen."

I flustered, my spinal felt loose, and I felt some tingling sensation in my chest. I had read a lot of novels to know why I felt jiggy, it was because of him — Alpha Alexander. He was the cause of my predicament with his overflowing charm and beauty.

"Thank you for showing up." I said as he let go of my hand.

"I would be a fool to turn down your proposal," he replied immediately, "Seeing the envelope sent by your father made me feel like the luckiest man on earth. Who would have thought that the princess of Trinigad was interested in me?"

I touched my cheeks; I did that whenever I felt nervous. "Count yourself lucky. Not every man can be blessed with having a beauty like me for a wife."

He smirked. "If I may-" he looked in-between my father and I. "-can we both go for a walk?"

My father was quick to accept, and I didn't have a problem with it. If anything, I was more than pleased to walk with him, the man of my dream.

"May we?" He was polite as he let out his arm. I hooked my arm with his as we went out of the throne room, into the garden.
