(Olivia POV)
It’s been two days since the weird Heat hit and Xavier has been apologizing non-stop through the pack link. I try to reassure him that I don’t blame him at all. He couldn't stop what happened. I told him that I felt some peace that it was at least him that was there with me. I hurry to get ready and go meet him down for breakfast in the dining room. This will be my first time leaving my room since the incident; I slip on my sandal and take a step out of my room. As I make my way down the hall I feel someone grab my arm. My instincts take over and I grab the hand holding me and twist around and swing my leg around making contact with the leg of the person behind me.
