Chapter Seven

Ivy's POV

It was early in the morning and I was already awake and getting ready to go to the office with Ron. I picked out an outfit I thought was suitable for the first day at work and it was a trouser suit. I came down to the living room and sat down waiting for Ron to come down so we can head out. I was nervous because I sort of already knew how majority of the people at the office will receive me and I dreaded it but I was prepared for whatever happened. I hear some footsteps coming down the stairs and I look up to see Ron fixing his tie

"Good morning Ron" I greet him as I stood up from the couch I was sitting on and he looked startled to see me there

"Good morning Ivy, I had no idea you were already dressed and down here. How are you? "

"I'm good. I hope you slept well" I asked

"Yes I did " he nodded

"You really look like a madam sheriff with that outfit"he adds while looking at my outfit
