Chapter 16 – Iris : When, what, who, why, where

All I could see was an endless darkness. There was no sound there was no colour just empty lifeless darkness I couldn’t tell you how long I was there as time didn’t seem to have a measure. I couldn’t tell you why I was there, or where this even was…. In fact I can’t recall anything. How did I get here? I lift my arm to look at my hand and there nothing, it’s so dark I can’t see where I begin or end. I touch my face but there’s no feeling there. I look up down and around nothing. I step forward and I see a purple glowing spec in the distance. The more I look at it the brighter and close it becomes. What is it? I do not know. I do know I’m not afraid so I start moving towards it. Brighter and brighter, bigger and bigger it becomes. Now I’m struggling to look at it my eyes stinging as the light gradually becomes too much.
