"I'm sure James and Jonathan have tried to show their concern." Jeremy kept the glass on the table, then stood up and approached Deric. "Then why don't you try it?"

"We got those shoes at the best shop in town," Jonathan lied. Anyone would have guessed the shoes were found in a trash or junkyard. "The model is perfect for your beautiful legs. Isn't that right, James?"

James laughed out loud. He was even holding his stomach. After the laughter stopped, he said, "There is no more special gift for you than these shoes. So use it to appreciate our gifts."

Deric smiled, taking the shoes out of the box. As expected, it was no longer usable. There was a large hole in the front like a gaping mouth. This was much worse than the shoes he was wearing this morning. Admittedly, his siblings were gifted with insults and theatrics.

"Be happy." Jonathan raised Deric's hands suddenly from behind. Meanwhile, James immediately squatted down and threw away the man's shoes carelessly.
