Epilogue

"Would it be a sin?"

DARKNESS engulfed the whole spacious room as I felt my hand caressing hers.

Her cold and lifeless body lay beside me as I stared right into her closed eyes, watching her beauty from above. My hand then slides through her blonde locks as I stroke them gently with my fingers.

The smell of her rotting flesh mixed with the fragrance of her shampoo surrounded the four corners of the room. It was a soothing, satisfying feeling, and I couldn't help but feel her body enveloping me from the inside.

I closed my eyes, putting her head against my lap.

I laid my eyes on her sleeping face and said, "Do you want to hear me sing?"

I intertwined our fingers just like she does every time, and what was flashing through one of them was a silver accessory that moves my heart every time.

An engraved stone was attached to the accessory. It was a wedding ring I bought when I had the chance to go out.

I put it across her slim, beautiful fingers and gave it a peck on my lips.
