Chapter 436

Doug Sharpe was a regular at Bloomington's herbal markets. He was an old friend who supplied herbs to the Hall of Herbs.

"Call me Uncle Dog! Boy, you divorced that rich woman, so are you returning to your old trade?"

It was early in the morning, so there was no business yet. Doug drank his soup with some bread and slipped on his shoes before he stepped out, asking, "Pumpkin soup. Do you want some?"

Chad waved his hand, scanning the herbs in the shops.

There were all sorts of herbs there, with varying qualities, but nothing was fake.

"An old dog is still an old dog. I'll keep calling you what I used to call you."

"Hey, it's been three years since you last came. So, what are you looking for? I'll ask around for you."

Dough finished his soup in a few gulps and walked out of the shop.

Chad stopped him. "I'm just here to take a look today, and it seems you have some impressive stuff here!"
