A faint sound met her ears that caught her attention. She hurriedly looked in that direction, turning down the volume of the television. She saw Iqrar moving in and then pushing the door close.
“How was your day?” she asked while she stretched back her legs which were laid before her on another couch. Her grey eyes scanned him down as he looked tired.
“It was good,” he answered her. He moved in her direction and sat next to her. His arm lay on the headrest of the couch and his legs spread wide as he sat in that alpha position. He smirked down at her when she smiled softly at him.
Their eyes locked and she could see how dark his eyes were. Every time she looked into his eyes, she found them usually dark. Though the colour was already dark, his dilated pupils made it darker and even hotter. The look in them always made her nervous and she still wondered what was so special about her that made him look at her like that.
“And the case?” She looked away and held the jug to fill a glass of water for him. She fetched it for him and gave him her full attention.
“Yeah, I won,” he took some sips, eyes not closing as he watched a grin spreading on her pink lips. She was genuinely happy, he could see the sincerity. She beamed, “Congratulations, then!” while pinching his cheek when he put down the glass.
He chuckled, adorning her cute act. “It won’t work. You have to give something else!” He wiggled his brows, “Will you?” and that naughty glint in his dark eyes could not go unnoticed by her.
Her cheeks burnt as she realised what he was asking. But she decided to play a little as she scrunched her brows, making a puzzled face as if she was trying hard to think.
“Um… what?” She tapped on her temple, leaving him astonished. He could not believe she was really playing with him but that moment of realization did not last long and he nodded.
“Okay, so you don’t remember?” He asked, getting up and removing his plain black coat. She watched him doing so, her doey eyes widening a bit when he removed his cufflinks and then pulled out his mobile and purse.
“I asked you something, Zoya, tell me,” he stood at his full height and pulled the hem of his white shirt out of his black pants, not removing the belt. That small action caused her to look down at him. For a split second, she noticed his lower abdomen when he pulled the shirt out.
She licked her lips as they felt dry all of a sudden. “N-no, what are you doing?” And she chose to stay stubborn, which he always liked about her. He loved how she tried to cast herself bold even if she was scared out of her wits. But right now, she was not scared. She was nervous and kind of excited.
“Hm, I see,” he leaned closer and hovered above her, caging her between his arms and legs, pushing his knees on either side of her. He moved to hold her hands and then snake them above her head as he leaned closer enough to feel her wavering breath hitting his lips. As he held both of her wrists above her head, he added, “you didn’t get what I asked.”
Her brows corrugated as she narrowed her eyes when she realised the point. “You, too, are playing, Iqrar,” she said, earning his gaze at her moving lips and then back to her eyes.
He smirked. “So what? Only you can play, huh?” the proximity helped a lot as his lips touched hers faintly. The slight touch left her wanting as she closed her eyes and mumbled, “Stop playing, Iqrar, do it quickly!”
“Is that so?” He asked as he moved closer, so close that now they shared the same air to inhale. The bulge in his pants pushed down against her abdomen which made her gasp but she loved that feeling. It was pleasant.
“Yes,” she whispered with a nod and that obedience heightened his ego.
“Hm, but you have to ask, baby. Nicely.” When she opened her eyes, she found him smirking down at her. He was back with his dominance and he knew she felt too ashamed to ask something like that. Most of the time, she ordered him around. She, too, held dominance, but when she was desperate, he made her vulnerable too. And he loved it. More than anything.
“What are you thinking, darling?” He faked innocence as the look on his face was pure evil. He rolled his hips and that contact left her breathless. Her heat throbbed and she wanted him badly.
“You’re so cruel.”
“So you are, baby,” the reply was quick, and due to the crazy proximity, when he flicked his tongue out, it touched her sensitive lips, jolting up the nerves. She mewled, pushing her head up when he moved back, loving the desperate waves vibrating around her.
If her hands were freed, she would have held his head and then kissed him, but right now, she was at his mercy.
“If you don’t want, you can just tell—” he was about to complete when she interrupted him, “No, I want you!” and she did not sound desperate but needy. And he loved the feeling of being needed.
“Impressive,” his smirk widened and she sighed, “Okay, kiss me, Iqrar!”
“What’s the magical word?”
She huffed. “Kiss me, Iqrar, please?” she batted her long eyelashes for a better impression which earned her the desired satisfaction.
He grinned, “Gladly, baby,” and leaned down to capture her lips in a slow and sensual kiss. His head tilted as their lips moulded softly, locking with each other perfectly. His free hand roamed down her curves, pushing her grey tank top up and then snaking his hand under it, burning her already hot skin. The touch made her shiver and he smiled against her lips.
“Please, leave my hands, I need to touch you, Iqrar,” the gentle request made his heart skip a beat but he freed her wrists. She hurriedly held his neck, pulling him closer as they kissed once again like they needed each other more than oxygen.
He rested one hand beside her head while the other continued caressing her soft skin. She ran her thin fingers through his scalps and yelped them unknowingly when he bit her bottom lip. He groaned in her mouth, the vibration transversing through him as the sweet pain coursed through both of them.
A gasp could not sit back when he held her soft mould and squeezed it through the lacy bra. Her legs stretched automatically and wrapped around his torso, pushing him in and feeling his hardness against her clothed wet entrance.
He rolled his hips as he knew what she wanted, while he roamed his tongue inside her hot mouth, finding its companion and then pushing it gently like a soft stroke. He sucked her bottom lip as he left it gently and then stared at her flushed face.
“Did you eat something?” He asked, his hot breath hitting her face.
Panting, she slowly opened her eyes and murmured, “No. I thought we’d eat together.” It made him smile and he leaned down to kiss her for a moment, breaking it to say, “Let’s go out for dinner, how’s it?”
“Yeah, sure,” she smiled, her hands still moving behind his back and in his hair, secretly loving the feel of his hot skin and flexing muscles.
“Okay. Get ready then,” he beamed and got up. His warmth left her and a corner inside her was disappointed but it was for good. She smiled when she saw him getting up with excitement, and there a huge grin was on his lips which she loved the most. The kind of pure excitement like a child and happiness as holy as the water of the river Jordan seeped through him was so strong that anybody could be affected by it — just like her, who got the reason to grin like him; just like him.
“What should I wear?” She asked, walking ahead as he followed her to their room. He mischievously scanned down her body, especially her hips which were wide.
“You want me to select something for you?” He chuckled softly, eyes twinkling the moment she asked for his opinion.
She opened the door and turned around, nodding her head, “Yeah, I don’t have any idea what I should wear when I go out… um… with you.” She shrugged off but she was insecure. He smiled softly and went to their closet. She strolled behind him, curiously looking around and inspecting the dresses. He selected a black dress and handed it to her.
“I never got to ask, can you walk on heels?” He turned to ask her. As she was lost admiring the dress he selected — she could not believe a man was better at selecting a dress than a woman — she, but she had to praise him for that. She had no idea that being a womanizer is not that useless.
“Yeah, I can,” she answered and he nodded. He gave her a pair of shiny black pumps and then other important accessories.
“I’m going to have a bath. You can get ready, okay?” She nodded so he could leave. He smiled and then left.
A terrible sound of breaking things jolted everybody around. The man in his study room — as he was having a meeting with some of his partners, flinched in his spot. He grabbed the edge of the table and a sigh escaped him. He looked up at the members and gave them an apologetic smile, uttering, “I shall go out and check. Excuse me.” He got up as all of them just nodded. He left the room, his body posture a bit nervous but then, he squared his shoulders and walked ahead until he spotted the scattered pieces of an antique vase lying near a table, placed against the white wall. He sighed when he found a red stiletto heel lying with the pieces and then, his restless gaze immediately turned to look at the stairs. There he spotted his everything — his loving daughter, marching up to her room, stomping her feet against the floor. There was one sandal on her foot while the other was bare. She was having difficulty but she was so stubborn that she did not even care about her discomfort. She
“And then I dashed out!” Both of them burst into laughter when Iqrar completed his story. They flopped on the bed and laid down together, still laughing while holding their stomachs. “You… You were so naughty in your childhood!” She turned to look at him and he chuckled. She smiled when she heard that deep laughter. It was as if dipped in gold. It sounded so rich and mesmerizing that she could not help but succumb to it. Even his laughter was sexy. “I still am,” he smiled as he stopped laughing and looked back at her. The smile she had was soft. He loved it. Loved it so much that he could not help but caress her cheek lovingly, making her sigh in relief. “I see,” she mumbled and saw his pupils dilating. The darkness in his eyes increased and she knew the meaning. Though it always irked her with other men, she could not help but find it beautiful with Iqrar. This man was something else. Something so addictive. Her favourite. And as if magnetized by the depth in his eyes, the sinful
“Chris, are you going somewhere?” Heer asked as she saw her son dressed in an ironed suit. He looked so charming like always. He had gotten those looks from his father. She smiled a bit, but she was upset seeing her son in that office attire. “Um… yes, mom,” he said as he covered the distance between them and kissed her temple before he sat in his usual place, turning the dish. “Just a small meeting,” he added, not glancing up at his mother who started serving him and his father. Sanam watched Christian from that distance, eyes slightly narrowed. “That’s unexpected, son, and kind of displeasing.” Suddenly work was displeasing for him because he cared about Heer’s feelings. She was here only for her son. Not a second without him she desired to spend. She just wanted to see him fine every time. “Dad, it won’t take even an hour, I promise.” He shrugged. Heer sighed, sitting next to her husband. Sanam gave her a glance, noticing her lips lightly pressed against each other. “Mom, you k
And on the other hand, when Christian reached his penthouse and did not find Hazel there, he became mad. He asked everyone who was worth asking questions, and when he finally talked to Rebecca, he learned that Hazel had gone back. Back to that brothel. And who sent her there, he wanted to know. But Rebecca did not know about this. She only told him that Hazel had gone out crying after seeing both of them together and that Gabriella had invited her there. Gabriella — he could have guessed it but what hurt him more, was that he wanted to believe that father and daughter for one more time so he could think of forgiving them but they lost the chance. Blind by jealousy, she invited Hazel there and perhaps she was the only one who arranged everything to send her from there. After knowing this, he stopped asking questions Rebecca and now his only destination was India. ~♪“Iqrar…” she called his name longingly as she knocked on the door of his study room. A faint permission was heard
“Dad, I’m leaving for India.” Upon hearing Christian, Sanam frowned as the thought sounded unpleasant. His brows corrugated and he looked at his son with those pair of amber orbs. Heer, who was sitting on a couch, playing with Aurora could not help but look at her son, not understanding why he made the decision all of a sudden. As per what Sanam told her, she knew the matters related to work were being taken care of by their incredible managers. Then what was lacking, she wondered. “For what?” He asked. “A very important matter came up. I need to leave, and I’m willing to leave this evening.” Sanam’s eyes narrowed. He looked at Heer who nodded. She held Aurora’s hand and got up, muttering something into her ear to which she agreed excitedly and made her way out with her grandmother. Once the ladies left, Sanam said, “I know the exact reason, son. I know it’s not related to work.” Christian swallowed. Nervousness knocked on his brain but he was well-trained in the matters of con
That night Hazel did not think that another visitor would come to meet her. She was sliding the curtains close in her room to go to sleep when Eliseva’s messenger Mahru came to tell her that a customer had come for her tonight. As soon as she heard this, her blood ran cold due to fear. She clutched the fabric of curtains which was in her hands in anticipation because she did not know how to escape from this new man. Mahru left her room and Hazel sat on her bed, lost in fear. She began to fidget with the corner of her white-coloured kameez between her fingers, not knowing if even a per cent of her restlessness would cease by doing it. The door of her room opened and she jolted up from her place. Her widened eyes stared at the man who stood before her. His eyes were bloodshot red, and it terrified her more than she already was. He was long and intimidating. His bloody hazel eyes stared at her maliciously like he was going to tear her limbs apart. He took a step in her direction and
October is over. The wind was blowing even colder. The sun started shining in the sky only in the afternoon and what was worse was that he was getting married the very next day. While taking down the old curtains of her room, she was thinking about Christian. She remembered the date of his marriage as it was printed and announced the same day, but now she did not feel like crying anymore. Maybe she had already shed so many tears that now they seemed over — overly consumed. But the thing was that she had already suffered so much that now crying over such a small thing seemed foolish to her. However, the memory of him was still stinging in her chest. She was unable to get him out of her mind, her heart, and her body. He seemed deeply dissolved in her. “Hazel…” She turned to check the person who called her from behind. She trod to her door, putting the curtains on her bed before she reached the door and opened it. Rabiya was standing at the door. She was grinning, Hazel had no idea wh
She hiccuped again as tears from her big hazel eyes cascaded down her wet pink cheeks. She closed her eyes with an inhale of short breath, still replaying what happened an hour ago in her room. He was there. He was there to take her back but she refused. How badly she wanted him to be single before he decided to come back to her, only she knew this. Just someone else’s forced presence between them was keeping her away from him. She was not unaware that the moments she spent with Christian were never as good as she could trust him but she was attached to him. It was bound to make her feel so deeply attached to him when the two of them spent every night with each other. The body is probably made to bind the souls, her mind could not hate this thing. She felt it. No, she was feeling it. But luck was probably never on her side. “Hazel,” the door of her room opened as Irene stepped inside. She carefully looked at Hazel who was sitting at the entrance to the terrace side of her room. He
