CHAPTER 12

Liam’s pov

I stared at Ruby with a very big growl on my face.

I couldn’t believe that Ruby never left the house, but I suddenly became confused as to where she was all this while.

I kept on ignoring her whenever she wanted to talk to me, and she obviously wasn’t happy about it.

She tried to beg me but I told her that the automatic way to regain my forgiveness was if she apologizes to Freda.

So there she was, on a call with Freda!

“So that’s all,” She said the moment she hung up.

“Yeah,” I nodded and went straight to the kitchen.

“I’d like to leave, only when I’m certain that you’re not angry with me,” She said and I furrowed my brows.

“I’m not, so you can leave,” I said with a crumpled face.

That moment, what I wanted was to be alone. I didn’t want anyone around me, and definitely not Ruby.

“Fine, I’ll leave,” Ruby sighed and headed straight to the door, as I trailed behind her so I’d lock it the moment she leaves.

She opened the door knob slowly, and turned back swiftly.
