He felt stifled beyond measure. Despite it being his own money, control slipped from his grasp into the Pentras' hands. Allowing them control was one thing, but needing their consent for every expenditure? It felt like the greatest mockery he had ever endured.

"What's the rush?" Eric interjected. "Your company remains under your control in every aspect except finances. Besides, without your approval, can they truly move any money?"

Eric continued. "The Pentras are aware of our meeting here. Their delay tactic is to observe our response and take action."
