I shut my eyes and sucked in the relief that washed over me. I stumbled out of the room and into the living room where the police had invaded. The men had been apprehended.

We stayed like that for a few moments before we got back in the car. Neither of us spoke a word to each other throughout the drive to the hospital. "So, do you want to grab a coffee while I book the flight?" Moore asked softly. I blinked at his kindness and stumbled back in shock. A small chuckle brought me back to my senses. "Are you always this dramatic?" Moore asked with a raised eyebrow. I rolled my eyes and jogged back into the hospital.

I nodded and ran my hands through my hair, I took in his messy appearance, his normally styled dark fringe was in all the wrong places and his baby blue eyes lost the spark of intimidation they usually had. It wasn't just his appearance though; It was the way he spoke, the way he looked at me and reacted. It felt like this was a completely different Moore and the previous one was just an exterior. Moore grabbed my hand into his and squeezed it. I smiled and glanced away. "When did the doctor say we could leave? Since it was just a few bruises... "Moore!" I called out and chased after him, the door slammed in my face before I could get into his room. I turned and slid down the door, I had not been expecting such a reaction from him.
