Ch 121: Is she the one?

“Lulu… Lulu… look at me, Lulu.” Boss Vicker called out in a faint voice that conveyed concern for his little wife. Lulu heard him alright but was still unable to turn around and look him in the eyes. She felt so embarrassed that she wished to dig the ground and hide her face.

She shut her eyes tightly, but he knew she was only faking it. Boss Vicker scooted towards Lulu and wrapped his arms around her gently. He pulled her closer, allowing their exposed bodies to touch. He then kissed her hair gently and requested firmly, “Lulu, I think you need to see a therapist.”

Lulu went stiff under the duvet as she tried everything possible to remain invisible. It was an understatement to say that Lulu was embarrassed right now. However, she could tell her husband was giving her a way out.
