18. Dark Magic

EVA POV

I didn't know I could call it a good or bad day. I had to work with Jake in his company. Our project was in middle and we had to cover up all the backlogs and major changes requested by the customer. We had a meeting with the engineering team. Once we had done with that meeting, I along with my designers' team planned the next schedule. After lunch, I have a meeting with Jake and his finance department to discuss further plans.

I didn't meet Jake after he drop me off at my pack. I didn't have any details about Flint. From Evan, I got to know that Flint was handed over to the royal pack. Evan was not allowing me to involve in pack businesses.

I need a coffee to clear my mind which was dumped with numbers and rules. I wonder how could Evan handle them efficiently and easily. I headed towards the coffee machine looking around the workspace. It's quite spacious and comfortable but weirdly calm. Employees sat tight in their places and few were walking around with papers quietly
