Sometimes I wished I could experience what it meant to shift.

There were a lot of things I am missing out on. “You can go back and get some rest and take a good shower. You are a mess!” she commanded, her words bringing me out of my thoughts.

I looked at myself and then back at her. I was indeed a mess, all thanks to her. If she hadn't scared me I would have bathed in the soil. “Is there a way I can access my dormant wolf?” I asked, sounding very sad.

Beta Stephanie was silent for a while, I felt a flicker of hope as it flashed through my eyes. It seems there was really a way. She walked a few centimeters away from me, “I don't know who you are or what your roots are, if I did, I could help you.”
