Finn

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. Without looking, I knew the bed was empty as the warmth that accompanied that woman was gone. Just to be sure, I patted the space beside me, but there was nothing there.

I groaned as I sat up on the bed. I held my head with both hands as I was hit by a strong jolt of pain.

I wonder how strong the drug must have been or how much of it was administered for it to have such an effect on me.

Coming back home was a decision I made out of pressure, but I knew that my return was due. Who would have thought that I would get drugged upon my return?

Being the eldest son of the royal household of Callhary, I knew that the palace was filled with foes in the guise of friends. Hence, being attacked wasn't so surprising.

Even though the party was thrown to celebrate the return of me and my brothers as we returned home from schooling abroad, I chose to be vigilant.

After being poisoned twice, vigilant became my watchword.

I didn't eat or drink at the party which made me wonder how I got drugged. I couldn't figure it out at that moment as I struggled to keep my composure.

I wouldn't want to embarrass myself and give the enemy the joy of seeing me fall to ruin. I managed to get in my Ferrari Porsche and drove out of the palace without alerting anyone.

I couldn't risk going to any famous hotel for fear of being discovered. I didn't want my father to find out what happened, so I opted for the hidden treasure.

The hidden treasure was a hotel that followed its name. I mean everyone knows the place for its affordable services, but what they don't know is that there really is a treasure hidden in that place.

On the outside, it's just a small three star hotel, but right inside that tiny piece was an exquisite six star hotel.

I discovered the place when I was seventeen and would often need a getaway from the troubles of the royal household. I thought I would just stay there for a few minutes since no one would look for a prince in a place like that. However, I got lost in the corridor and stumbled upon a magic mirror. I touched the mirror to admire it as I was a fan of good art.

What I wasn't expecting was to be transported to a different world. I laughed to myself at the sight before me, and couldn't help but salute the creativity behind the place.

I fell in love with the place since then and I made sure to get myself a permanent room there, but under a different name.

I couldn't risk exposing my identity after all.

This place was like my secret hideout, so it was the first place that came to mind when I got drugged.

I tried to get the drug out of my system but according to the doctor I already have too much in me to be subdued which was why I had to succumb to its effect.

I needed a woman to relieve myself but I didn't have a girlfriend and I would never take advantage of anyone which was why I refused to have anyone brought in.

I didn't expect that the lady would come in at that time. I tried....I really tried to hold back from having to use her, but she bore a compelling scent that made staying away quite difficult.

What I found surprising was that her presence stirred up my wolf, but I wasn't in the right state of mind to figure out how she was able to do that. No woman has made my wolf so restless, not even my ex-girlfriend, Estrella.

Drugged and drunk, I couldn't hold on to my resolve, especially when she had such an enticing scent. I took her but with the promise of compensating her because I knew then and there that I want to get to know her.

To maybe... keep her, if she allows it for I knew that no amount of compensation could make up for what I did to her.

The night was long and pleasurable.

I didn't realise how long it took until I was exhausted and fell asleep.

Walking towards the bathroom, I opened the door to check if the lady was there but she was gone.

I checked everywhere in the room, but she was nowhere to be seen.

I tried to picture her face to know if I could remember her, but the picture that appeared in my mind was blurry.

Did she say her name? I tried to recall, then I realised that she didn't.

Shit!

How did I let that happen?

I called my guards and asked about her, but no one knew her. When I spoke to the manager about her, he brought me a woman, but she was nothing like her.

Even though I don't recall her face, I knew her scent and the woman before me smells nothing like her.

"She was the one I sent to deliver water to your room," the manager said.

However, the woman before me wasn't the same one I spent the night with.

"You may leave," I waved them off.

I sighed and decided to go take a bath as my heart was being whipped by guilt.

"Sir, are you okay?" A tiny voice whispered in my ear as if to help me remember.

It was her voice.

That seraphic voice wasn't easy to forget.

I turned off the shower and immediately looked around but she was nowhere around.

Was my mind playing jokes with me now?

Sighing heavily, I went out of the bathroom and immediately got dressed to return to the palace before my father noticed my absence.

I took one last look at the stain on the bed and my heart became heavy with guilt as memories of the night came flooding.

I wish....I could see her again.
