Seventeen

Everest.

The sound of the loud bell woke me up. I robbed my eyes, getting up the bed, I was about to get off. My heart almost came out of my chest, “You startled me,” I said trying to catch my breath.

Adrienne giggled, “I feel so good, scaring the shit out of you.” She said happily. I couldn't help but chuckle, seeing how happy she was, made me helpless, I couldn't get angry at her. “Good morning,” I greeted with a smile.”

“Good morning, “Adrienne replied. Since she had achieved her aim she returned back to what she was doing. Using the ladder at the other end of the bunk, I supported my weight as I dressed my bed making it neat and tidy. With that being done, I got off the bunk.

Our room was spacious enough but I was limited to most things all because of Alice. She had set the boundaries she didn't want me to cross. I had to adhere to them because I didn't want any problems.
