Around an hour later we were in the car on our way to the shops, Anthony said we can't stay long cause he has to get back to his work soon, so we have a list we have to follow. I didn't mind I just needed to get out so people would see my face and hopefully do something, before we left I wrote on a little piece of paper explaining what's happened hoping I'd be able to give it to someone to help me. Once we arrive at the shop he places Amelia in one of those baby trolley things, taking my hand pulling me to walk closely next to him his hand keeping me there. He hands me the list so both of my hands were doing something, but it was as though he didn't need the list, he was walking down the aisle getting the items in order, did he memorise this before we left or something?
We were basically done with the shopping, as we walk down the final aisle I spot a worker stacking a shelve which I knew was my last chance to get help, I place my hand on Amelia
We arrive home from the supermarket where Amelia and I are ushered into the house, I was just out in a supermarket but he makes sure to keep me away from his neighbours, what is this guys deal? He instructs me to deal with Amelia while he deals with the shopping, as loud knocks from the front door causes him to freeze. My first thought was that it must be ink but than I remember, the note I left for the unsuspecting supermarket worker. Anthony seems to move me away from the view of the front door where I'm pushed into a corner, as the knocks on the door get louder. "Doll, you need to listen to me, take Amelia upstairs and get her ready for bed but do not come down until I come up okay?" He asks but I knew it wasn't a question I had zero choice in the matter, I nod quickly as male voices start shouting from the door "go on then doll" he half smiles basically pushing me up the stairs as more voice sound from the
I lay on the bed with Amelia just staring at her, maybe this is gonna be our lives now just stuck with this man. I really thought this would be over when she told me she knew, but Anthony always finds a way to to foil all my plans, the door opens causing me to jump and move away from Anthony who walks in with fresh clothes, he looked like he just showered. "Tammy's left, I had her see sense" he starts closing the door behind him walking towards the bed, he gently picks Amelia up placing her into her coat. Is he gonna do to me whatever he's done to Tammy? I quickly get up from the bed darting to the other side of the room, I run to the door managing to open it slightly but it's soon slammed closed. Anthony proceeds to trap me against the wall and him, I look up at him terrified while he wore the same smile on his face.
It was early the next morning, I was in the kitchen chopping some fresh melon slices, while Anthony was fixing some furniture in the back. I was a little nervous about today, I mean I wanna help him after he told me how his mother used to treat him, but there's also a part of me that doesn't for obvious reasons. I finish chopping the melon as Anthony walks in taking a piece shoving it into his mouth, I shake my head picking the remaining slices up placing them in a lunchbox for the fridge. "Thank you again for doing all this doll, I just hope she appreciates it" he sighs leaning against the counter still chewing his melon, while I put the rest of the fresh fruit in the fridge "I'm probably just overreacting it's gonna go fine, now I have you and Amelia, there is nothing she can say which will bring me down" he smiles, pulling me closer to him with his hands on my
"Mother it's nice to see you, come in" I hear him politely say, wow who knew this guy could be polite, I hear little child voice start talking walking into the house. "Little bro it's nice to see you again, especially like this all dressed up in a suit living in his amazing house" I hear a woman say, who's probably his older sister he was telling me about last night, his mother hasn't actually said anything yet. "Yes, you've finally learnt how to tie a tie, I definitely didn't see that one coming," another woman says in a posh voice, that has to be his delightful mother who, by the sounds of it, is everything he said she was. "Well it has been a lot of years mother, I have changed" Anthony replies kind of sticking up for himself, which I have to respect "but I know you'r
She walks us right over to a black car as Anthony comes bounding out the house, she begins to shout insults his way pointing acting like well a crazy lady. Neighbours start to leave their houses to watch all the commotion take place, I was in the middle, his mother's death grip on my hand still going strong. "Let go of her mother before I do something you're really gonna regret" Anthony chuckles quietly just before his sister with her sons walks out the house and over to us "Nicole you take the boys home and I'll ring you later when she's calmed down, we've been avoiding getting her help for too long" he boldly says turning to Nicole, his mother screams at him hitting his chest, okay what the actual heck is going on right now?! "Doll you go back in the house with Amelia, while I try to deal wi
It's been just about a month since Anthony attacked his mother, the days have flown by so fast, Amelia and I just being trapped is this house. Anthony hardly leaves it either, he tries to sneak out when he thinks I'm asleep, I haven't been able to sleep since his mother incident, I've been much too scared. He didn't give me an explanation on what happened with his mother and told me just to forget I ever saw her, I don't think the image of her laying on the floor will ever leave my head, it was horrifying. The only thing that's been keeping me together is Amelia, I know I can't just give up cause that would mean I give up on her and break the promise I made to her mother that night. Anthony's weird friends are always around the house, but spend most of their time in the basement, I've tried to see what was down there when the door was left open, but I heard Anthon
I slowly walk backwards down the aisle until I'm away enough, I turn walking down another aisle trying to find an exit or something. How much good is this helping if I'm just walking aimlessly around aisles? I stop and start to think about my next moves, Anthony isn't gonna be distracted forever and will soon realise we're not there. If he sees me just walking around he'll know I was tying to escape, and I might end up like his mother, I see a woman sat at a little desk with signup sheets smiling, an idea soon pops in my mind and I quickly walk over there. "Hi miss, are you interested in joining our weekly antiques club?" She asks politely with a smile, I quickly nod looking behind me to check Anthony wasn't about "that's great! I just need your full name" she smiles pulling a clipboard up with a pen, waiting for me to say something. "Yes my
It's been a few more weeks since Anthony took me to case the joint, as ink put it that day. I've been leaving the police so many notes but I don't know if they're actually seeing them, the last note I left brought us the closest we've been to escaping, but still not close enough. Anthony has been going out a lot leaving Amelia and me with ink, ink doesn't seem that bright so I've been trying to persuade him to take us out, but Anthony has his claws in that poor guy. Today had just been like any normal day for the life we're living now, as it was on the warmer side of days for it being nearly winter, I was in the garden with Amelia under the watchful eye of Anthony in the kitchen. Amelia can now sit up by herself so she was just playing with her toys on her blanket, while I lay down looking at the sky. The peaceful day was disr
