The truth of the pack (Part one)

“Luna?” Someone shouts from behind me. I am outside speaking to some of my animal friends, taking in the fresh air. Liam wanted to deal with the whole Shyla situation, but his dad told me to let her sit and sweat for a day or two before visiting her, so he went back to his office to do some pack work. I told him I needed some air, and he understood. He knows how important the outdoors are to me, and how I use it to recharge, even though it’s not something I have been able to do for a long time. Everything has moved so fast since the kidnapping, so here I am enjoying the quiet and calm in the treelines - well within our pack borders so we don’t get any more unpleasant surprises. My guards move from the shadows of the trees, so the one coming knows they are there. They have been following me around ever since I came back and I’m not with Liam or one of the others. They try to be invisible, but sometimes that’s not possible.
