BRYNN The cells were part of a separate building behind the packhouse. I had never been there, so I was curious to see what it was like. It was a large stone building with security cameras facing every direction. There was a keypad near the door, but Theo stopped in front of the camera. A buzzing sound rang out, and the door opened. ‘Security here is very tight for a reason. You either have to be let in by the guard or enter the code to get in. Said code changes on a weekly basis. BRYNN My nightmares were always the exact same. It was the night my mother was brutally killed in front of me. However, it was a little bit different this time even though it had been the exact same for seven long years. She was wearing a necklace – one that looked like an exact replica of my own. THEO I had no idea what was going on when Brynn woke me up, saying that she was at my door. I was not prepared for the sight of her standing in front of me in a dress that did little to hide her perfect figure. However, what stopped me from fully appreciating the goddess that stood in front of me was that she looked so rattled that I knew something serious had happened. My heart broke for her as she explained to me what had happened to her mother. It was no wonder that she had nightmares. BRYNN According to Dante, the nightmare I had was a vision, but it gave us at least a couple of months. Apparently, my amulet was what allowed it to happen. Did it mean that the dream I had of Theo was also a vision? It felt just as real. Watching him die in the vision was enough to shatter me.
