Chapter 96

Lance's POV

“Thank you, Mr. Thomas, we'll continue some other time,” I shook hands with the man I was supposed to have a very important meeting with but had to cancel.

He still looked confused, and although he stretched his hands towards me to return the handshake, I still saw the confusion on his face. He said,

“Alpha Lance, we can still talk about this, I didn't back out. Did someone tell you something about me?”

Letting out a chuckle, I shook my head,

“Oh no, Mr. Thomas, You're a great man. It would be an injustice to rip you off of what's yours just because I heard something that's not business-related about you. I'm strictly in for business,” I reminded him and saw him nod his head.

“Then, why are you ending a meeting that hasn't even started?” He asked and I could understand his fears.

We were supposed to have this meeting in a restaurant but I changed plans last minute and asked him to come over to my office instead. He came only for me to postpone the meeting. Definitely,
