Elena pov

I have a hard time believing what I see in front of me.

I'm staring right into the eyes of a black beast, I only can describe it as a mix of a bear and a wolf. The eyes are pitch black and I see it sniffing in the air before it starts to growl.

I hear more snarls and around the animal comes four more what I only can guess are wolves. They are big but not as big as the black one.

The others are either grey or a mix of grey and brown.

I'm shocked by the sight of them and don't know how to get out of here alive. To them, I guess I'm just dinner and have nothing to put up against them if they are about to attack.

I don't dare to move and on the other hand, I have to try!

Taking a slow step back while I keep my eyes locked on every move they make when I see the black one taking a few steps closer to me and sniffing in the air.

My heart is about to beat out of my chest and I have my eyes locked on the beast in front of me when I take a slow step backward.
