Chapter 3

The light smell of wine rushed into his nose, carrying the sweet fragrance of a girl. The beautiful man who looked like a Roman god was truly stunned by her.

This woman! Who was she and where did she come from?!

Ashley, who was drunk at that point, only felt she was hugging someone to whom she was getting married as she could smell the clean and refreshing scent of the shower gel on his body.

"I'm very uncomfortable..."Ashley rubbed his body with her face comfortably, as if feeling his coldness. She felt much more comfortable while she did it. George Chulley was much more comfortable to be with than she imagined.

His body felt amazing and smelt good. His structure from her blurry vision looked good, maybe marrying him was not a bad idea at all.

She closed her eyes as she smiled happily. It was time.

Ashley was ready to give herself to George Chulley on their engagement night, as expected. Seeing him this up close made things easy for her.

She had never seen George Chulley all the while her father told her to marry him. She decided to keep it as a blind marriage. Ashley felt she would back down and possibly regret it if she saw his picture so to make things easier, she said no.

Her father had persuaded her to have a look at him, at least once but she refused. She would see him on their engagement night and tonight was the night.

She mentally prepared herself and smiled at him. What was he waiting for?

Ashley wanted him to have her whole body immediately before she had time to change her mind.

The beautiful man propped up on top of her, and Ashley Simpson clung to him like a kitten as she rubbed him unconsciously.

The beautiful figure was uncomfortable but he endured the uneasy woman and called his secretary,

"There's no need to send the meeting documents here. I'll go directly to the company tomorrow."

In his dim presidential suit, after he had hung up his phone, he whispered in Ashley Simpson's ear, "Listen, Woman, I do not know you but you asked for this. Do not regret it."

With that, he leaned in and kissed her. He erected himself rubbing against her.

Ashley moaned and the rest was history.

*****

The next day, the sun shone through the hotel screens. It seemed like a beautiful morning. If she was in a little town, she would have heard the sounds of birds chirping but now, the sounds of cars honking woke her up.

"Mmm..."

Ashley Simpson frowned, her mouth wriggling a little, as she went back to sleep. Was it morning already?

Alex Wayne looked at the woman on the bed. She was sleeping very childishly. Did she not know how to sleep well?

He could see how she tightly hugged the quilt that was wrapped around her.

Her pure white skin looked like roses blooming. Her chest rose and fell as she snuggled on the pillow.

Anyone who saw her body could easily imagine what had happened last night.

There was a pale red dragon tattoo on the lower back of her waist that was almost near her bum. He wondered why she would get such a tattoo but he didn't care regardless. It looked nice to him

Alex Wayne had just returned from a trip abroad and was about to get home when his girlfriend called. Monalisa nearly nagged him to death about him not having her time. She said she was at his house waiting for him.

Alex Wayne knew Monalisa was not one to let him be when he returned home and he was too tired to have to face her, so he called his secretary and asked her to book him a room for the night.

On his way to the hotel, Alex asked his secretary to bring some important meeting documents over. That was before he saw the annoying little woman break into his room and seduce him. That was the shock of his life.

He was a man with strong self-control, but last night, he was provoked by a strange woman. Now that he could see clearly, he realized that this woman was unexpectedly pure and beautiful and she seemed to be a teenager. She had short curly hair, the color red, and long eyelashes. She looked cute and playful like a child.

Looking at Ashley Simpson on the bed, Alex Wayne decided to find out who she was. He took out her purse from her handbag and searched for her ID. He could not see any but he saw her debit card. Her name was on it——

 Ashley Simpson?

"Secretary Kim, I need you to help look up the name 'Ashley Simpson' for me. He smiled as he took a glance at her again. "And send her money too. I would hate to owe anyone. Are my board members seated?" Alex asked.

Money was a great compensation for the night he and Ashley  Simpson had, he did not know her nor did he wish to know her. He would pay her and off he went. After all, the woman that lay beside him was not his girlfriend, so he did not have to care.

After going over his plans for the day's meeting with his secretary, Alex Wayne rushed into the bathroom, had a shower, and then took his suit jacket from beneath Ashley Simpson's body on his bed.

"...George Chulley?"

Ashley Simpson snorted. She was still deep in sleep.

Alex Wayne paused for a moment, then narrowed his eyes. George Chulley? Really? She was assuming he to be that guy?

His eyes suddenly fell on the tattoo on her waist. After standing for a while to stare at her, he picked up his suit jacket and left the hotel room. He was running late for his meeting and he would deal with Ashley later.

As he wore his suit, his personalized card fell from the pocket of his suit jacket.

"Alex Wayne, CEO of Wayne Enterprises"

His initials, A.W, was also boldly written on it.

Alex had not seen it fall and so he left the room as he turned to have one last glance at Ashley who was on the bed.

****

Ashley Simpson was in her dream world, imagining herself dancing under a tree with the man she had just laid with. When she reached over to the other side of the bed, hoping to feel his body, She was greeted with a pillow. Ashley touched to confirm what she was touching but still, there was not a body in her grasp.

She growled softly as she turned to his side to confirm. She opened her eyes and saw no one. Ashley sat up straight on the bed as she called out for him."George Chulley..."

When she realized no one was in the room with her, she fully awoke. She slowly stood up, feeling as though her entire body was about to fall apart. "What's wrong with me?"

Her eyes fluttered, looking around, then looking at herself. When she looked down, her clothes were gone!

At first, her brain was stunned for a while, then memories of yesterday's engagement party came flooding in, as well as the call from her father, asking her to go to a certain room... She tried to recall everything.

And then she gasped. She remembered she was at her engagement party yesterday night and after that, what next? She gasped even more as she remembered today was supposed to be her wedding!

"Ah! I am going to be late for my wedding. Why didn't George Chulley wake me up?"

Ashley Simpson immediately rushed to the bathroom to have a shower and prepare herself to step out. “Oh, no, no. How's the wedding going? Has it started? Why didn't anyone call me?”

As she tried to get off the bed, she missed a step and fell on the carpet——

"Ah..."

She cried out in pain with a pale face.

When she raised her head, she was amazed at what she was looking at. In front of her was the luxurious presidential suite.

How did she get in here?

She still had some vague memories of yesterday's situation, but she could not remember very clearly. She only remembered that she was hugging someone...

Ashley Simpson immediately called out to her soon-to-be husband, "George Chulley?" But he did not answer. There was no response at all.

The man had already left.

As Ashley Simpson stood there, still very unsure of what was going on, her phone rang. It was her father, Mr. Gregory Simpson.

"Hello Dad, Where are you, and why has no one come to get me at the hotel? How was my engagement party last night?"

Ashley paused to calm down and then she proceeded to talk.

"What happened next?" Ashley Simpson asked anxiously. She had too many questions as she had just woken up and did not understand what was going on, "Why am I alone in the hotel? Where is George Chulley? Why is he not in the room?"

"Ashley, What have I ever done to you? What exactly did I do to you to make you treat me this way? I begged you to do this favor for me and you agreed and now, you go and spend the night with another man?!! An enemy to Mr. George Chulley and his father at that!! What did I ever do to you to treat me this way?!!! Why?..."

"What?" Ashley did not understand what her father was saying. The entire situation started to confuse her. "Yesterday, you asked me to come here and I did. I met George Chulley. We spoke and we had sex, so what are you saying? Or was that man not George Chulley? Wait. What are you saying?"

"Ashley, Search for George Chulley on the internet and see what he looks like. I warned you to have a look at the man you were supposed to marry but you said no, now look at what you have caused!! My business is ruined because of you!!! Do not come back here!! Do not come back here ever again!!..."

After Ashley put down the phone, she quickly searched to see what George Chulley looked like. As she looked at his profile, she came to see that he was nothing like the man she had slept with last night. George Chulley was an old fat fag who looked unkempt and dirty. Ashley put her phone down and tried to organize her thoughts.

There was only one question on her mind.

If that wasn't George Chulley she had slept with last night, who was it?

Ashley picked up her phone to look at the news blogs and saw George Chulley calling her a prostitute and her father a cheat. He had released a video from the hotel's camera where she was seen walking into another room instead of his, on their engagement night.

He also said her father was involved in human trafficking and drugs. He was denting their image and saying he would not marry her anymore and he did not want to marry her anymore? Why?!!

Ashley started to cry. She blamed herself for mixing up the rooms.

If only she did not take so much alcohol, she would not have mixed up the rooms and slept with a stranger. But then, was it entirely her fault?

Who would blame her, she was just nineteen years old.

Ashley Simpson, with her puffy eyes, dragged her numb body to the living room area and turned on the television. The Chulley Enterprise And Corporation was one of the top real estate core group brands in the country. It was George Chulley, the son of Chulley Corporation, who was on television holding a press conference nationwide.

"I'm here to announce to the media that I'm canceling the engagement with Ashley Simpson. " The man, George Chulley who was the most powerful in the whole city said at the press conference, "After Ashley Simpson left at the wedding yesterday, she stayed up all night with a certain man. This kind of woman who cheated before marriage and misbehaved will have nothing to do with me, George Chulley ."

Standing beside George Chulley was her father, Gregory Simpson. He looked at the crowd with his head buried in shame.

Ashley felt her heart tight.

The reporter asked her father who stood beside George Chulley what he had to say and he spoke calmly,

"Then may I ask the supposed bride's father, Gregory Simpson, will the Simpsons family give the Chulley family an explanation about Miss Ashley Simpson's cheating before marriage which occurred last night?"

"This should be resolved as a family reason. It should be our problem. It does not need to come to the limelight. My daughter, Miss Ashley Simpson was spotted in a different room but that does not indicate that she slept with a stranger nor does it have anything to do with the public or media" Her father stood very close to George Chulley as he spoke. He then turned to George as he begged that they come off stage and settle it. He was a man in his late 70s and it was hurting Ashley to see her father beg. The reporters zoomed in closer and she could see tears roll down his eyes.

"This might be because Miss Ashley Simpson's father here, Gregory Simpson of the Simpson family and enterprise, was so desperate for money that he was willing to give me his daughter when he knew she was a whore. He has always been a corny man on the inside but now, everyone can see it on the outside. It might be a usual way of life for her and her family but I will not have this. My reputation along with my father's can not be tied to such people. We shall not interfere with your daughter's personal life. However, the money we hoped to lend the Simpson family to lift them from bankruptcy will be withdrawn with immediate effect and so will other aids. My father is very disappointed with Miss Ashley Simpson's behavior. The general public and my  family may end their relationship with her..."

Ashley Simpson's head thumped as she watched the press conference on TV.

George Chulley had said she cheated on him before marriage. The Chulley family had taken back the help they hoped to render to her father. All because of her? What was going on?

Thinking of the man she had earlier had sex with, she tried to make up his face in her memory.

He was a fine man whom she remembered looked like a Roman god. What if she searched for the man and begged him to lie? What if she asked him to say they had not had sex together, that she had come in drunk and he had left her to lie there?

Would he do it? Would that solve anything?

She had to try. Ashley stood up from the living room couch and walked back to the bed to put on her clothes. She had successfully worn them back on when she noticed her earring slipped out of place and fell on the ground. She tried to pick it up and then noticed a piece of paper on the floor.

She picked it up and it was a personalized name card. It belonged to Alex Wayne. Was that the name of the guy who had just slept with her?

Ashley picked up her phone and dialed his number. It rang the first three times but he did not pick it up. She was getting frustrated when she tried it for the last time and then suddenly, someone picked it up.

"Hello, this is Alex Wayne speaking. How may I help you?"

She instantly recognized the voice. The voice she had heard yesterday. It was him.

"Hello, my name is Ashley Simpson. I met with you yesterday and something wrong happened. I would like to see you right now and talk to you. If you're not too busy, can I come to you?" She asked nervously.

Alex Wayne paused for a while then proceeded to answer, "I am at Wayne Enterprises. If you know where that is, come and meet me here. I will wait for you for thirty minutes and if you are not here by then, you will never see me again" Alex Wayne said as he hung up the call.

Ashley hissed at him as he hung up the call on her. He seemed like a rude man. If he did not agree to her plan, what was she going to do?
