Chapter 14

Alex quickly got dressed. Monalisa tried to follow him but he asked her to stay back.

"I will be fine"

He dashed out of the house. He was driving so fast and making some calls for more directions.

When he arrived at the hospital he met the receptionist and asked about his friend Felix. He was directed to the room where he was receiving treatment.

Alex was shocked when he saw his friend.

"What happened Felix?"

Felix was talking but his voice was so low.

"I wish you a quick recovery man"

Monalisa called to know how his friend was doing. Alex sat down on a chair, looked at his friend, and recalled what happened some moments ago.

"Alex! Alex!"

He stood up immediately and move towards his friend.

"Do you need anything?"

"No, I just want to know how you got here"

"I was called by an unknown person and was informed that you had an accident. But what happened? How did the accident happen?"

"It's a long story, I missed some steps while crossing the road"
