Sleeping in the same room as Panda King feels different. It's different from all the times in the past when I was "Tin" and it's different from the night at the island.
My nerves are everywhere as he wraps his arm around me and hugs me to him as I lie on my side. Cub is sleeping in his Moses basket which my father already prepared for him. I am surprised how easily my dad accepted my baby and Panda. I thought he would continue with his cold, stern father charade for longer.
"You're not asleep yet are you?" He asks quietly.
I close my eyes and pretend to sleep. I feel him moving his body even closer, his warmth against my back.
"I know you can't sleep." He whispers into my ear, causing my body to shiver. I try to stay still but he gently turns me over until we are facing each other.
"Open your eyes or I will kiss you." He teases. Damn it!

Heart racing and my hands shaking with nervousness, I stand up. The mirror is a long floor length and my white gown flows down my body like a waterfall. The lacy neck adds a touch of elegance to the dress and the trail is shorter than the regular wedding dress' since I want to make sure I don't accidentally trip whilst I walk. As Liana turns around and puts the makeup and hair styling tools back into her bag, I pace around, trying to calm my nerves. "Tina, are you still nervous? Don't worry, everything will be fine. I'll look after baby Carl when you walk down the aisle." Liana says, patting my shoulder comfortingly. Panda and I finally decided on a name for our baby because the parents kept scolding us for calling our son "Cub". Thus, he is now named Carl Martin King. I smile at her, "Thank you. I don't even know why I am so nervous." I admit. I haven't been feeling well since last night. It must be what the
...And that's a wrap! Thank you to every person who clicked on this story and stuck with me through to the end. It's been a long journey and I honestly never thought I would get more than five readers when I first began writing His Bodyguard. I wasn't sure how or if I would be able to complete it but knowing that there are people out here who are giving me a chance and giving my story a chance, it really motivated me. There were times where I wondered whether I should stop, but your comments, votes and reads helped me buckle up and continue. Thank you for all the votes and comments. I really appreciate them. This story has now reached its ending but stay tuned for more of my stories in the near future. May you all find the happiness you deserve.
"You've improved a lot Tina." Hans grins as he hands me a water bottle."Thanks pal." I smile and open the bottle. I'm sweating after the fifth fight."Are you still interested in the job?" Hans asks as I wipe my face with my towel."Yes, I'm still struggling to find any decent jobs at the moment so if you could recommend me, I'll be happy." I smile."Sure, I'll let you know when we get a request. You're one of our best fighters, I am sure you will definitely get recruited soon.""Thank you Hans! I'll see you tomorrow.""Bye Tina."After showering in the shower room, I go to
My eye bags are brilliantly huge. I couldn't sleep at all last night because of that kissing monster."Are you alright Tina?" Hans asks as I practise my high kicks with him."Yeah, I didn't have enough sleep last night that's all.""Mint again?" Hans asks with a raised eyebrow.I nod, "He goes to that club every day.""He's probably just going through a phase.""A twenty two year old man?" I say incredulously, "He's an alcoholic at this rate."The ringing of a phone interrupts us and Hans walks to his bag and pulls out his mobile.
He takes me to an underground ring. There are a few people around."Mike! I've got you a partner!" The client shouts loudly.I gulp with anxiety as a tall and muscular man appears. He looks like he could flick me away with just his pinky."Hey Pan! What are you doing here?" Mike grins and then glances at me. "Who is this?""Your new fighting partner." Pan answers with a grin."Hold up, I have to fighthim?" I say incredulously. This jerk is playing with me!"Yes. Have fun. If you win, I'll accept you as my bodyguard."
By the time we arrive at his mansion, Panda King doesn't look as frightened as he did earlier. He manages to pull his helmet off but his jet black hair sticks up like Goku's and I can't help but laugh."How can you laugh?!" He glares at me."Your hair is a mess." I run up to him and reach out to sort his hair."Hey, what are you doing?" He asks backing away from me.I grin, "I doubt a rich son like you would want to be laughed at for his messy hair resembling an electric shock.""Shut up." He mutters before heading inside. The interior is really everything I had believed a rich man
As expected, my parents don't hesitate to interrogate me. I stick to my story of being the bodyguard for Liana King."Be careful and stay safe darling." Mum says as she hugs me."I will Mum. Call me if Mint needs sorting out. I'll come right away.""I can't believe my daughter is all grown up and off to protect people." Dad cries as he hugs me.I laugh, "I'm already half way to fifty Dad.""Don't miss me too much!" I call as I put my suitcase in the extra cart which I have just attached to my motorbike. My family wave as I shoot off.
"Where are we going?" I ask as I follow Panda to the car."You'll find out." Pan gestures to the chauffeur to come out of the driver's seat."He'll be driving from now on." He explains, pointing at me."What? I'm not your chauffeur! I'm your bodyguard." I protest."Now you're my driver. This is the disguise you will be following me with."I sigh. He's right. This will be the least suspicious position."Fine." I sigh and get into the driver's seat."Ow." Pan groans as he sits inside. I glance at him through the rear view mirror and smirk. His bottom must be hurting from when I pushe
