"Spill it out!" I dared him not caring about any other thing.

"You don't talk to the Alpha King like that!" Mr. Erlod immediately admonished me.

"Hahaha!" I laughed out loud at the whole situation.

"A few hours ago, you were just an Alpha not a king. And just because they made you one, you are so keen to showing your authority in front of me!" I laughed out loud until I could feel tears falling from my eyes.

"So tell me why you have to bring her as your partner when you have me your fiancee. We have been together for 3 years now!" I asked him waiting for him to give me an answer.

"I am an Alpha king, And I need someone worthy to stand next to me, not a wolfless wolf! Nora has nothing to do with this from the begining to now!" Just as he finished speaking, My heart broke.

My hand moved faster than my brain ad I slapped him across the face, I could hear the crowd gasps

"Wolfless?! I am your Mate! And she is not!" I yelled out at him.

"Then you just have to stop being my mate?!" He replied and looked like he didn't care about the slap just now.

"Are you happy?" I turned to look at the Annoying Nora that stood aside acting as if any of this has nothing to do with her.

"This had nothing to do with Nora!" Mrs. Erlod stood in front of me.

"Answer me! Are you happy!" I asked again.

"I didn't mean to..." Beads of tears fell from her eyes.

"Just clean those tears! I am the one who is wronged! I am the one who should cry not you!!!" I yelled out with a broken voice.

"You came! You took my parents! You took my fiancee and made them hate me! So answer me? Are you happy now?!" I walked closer to her and asked.

"Layla stop it!!" Maxwell looked at me like he would kill me.

"There are so many Alpha Kings from different packs here, who are here to experience your coronation, Do you want them to see you beating up your mate?" I sneered and asked him.

"You are too vulgar to be my Mate, So therefore..." He said coldly and glanced at me one last time before heading towards the high platforms.

"I, Maxwell Quarter! Alpha King of the Moon light pack, Reject you, Layla Erlod as MY MATE!!!"

I stared at him in a daze, Beads of tears fell across my face. So it Really happened.

In a day, I lost everything! Everything that I've ever worked for, but still i am relieved.

I looked up to the platform

"Sister, I'm sorry. I really didn't know he will do this" I could hear Nora's crying voice behind me but right now I don't think I can cry.

I stepped forward as I walked towards the platform.

"Are you here to accept?!" Maxwell asked but i really don't have the time for him

But wait?!

Isn't that the Assassin that almost killed me today.

I walked past Maxwell and walked to the man in sliver mask that sat amongst the visiting Alpha Kings.

"There is an Assassin! Everyone run!!!!" I yelled out the moment I saw the sliver knife next to him and confirmed that he was the one that almost killed me.

But how did he get to the place were Alpha's are sitting, Don't ask me because I also don't know.

I squatted, well not only me but some others that came for the coronation party.

After a few seconds there was no movement "Huh? Has he already been caught?" I slowly raised my head and looked up.

I saw Maxwell looked at me condescendingly.

"Why are you looking at me? Have you caught the Assassin yet?" I asked.

"Is this your new trick?" He asked me instead and I could hear the anger in voice.

"But..." I looked at that Side and saw the man on Sliver mask still sitting there as if none of these has nothing to do with him.

"Is he not an Assassin?!" I asked looking at him.

"Ok. Layla! Stop with this joke and just agree to break the Mate bond between us!" Maxwell stopped me before I could even think of what is happening.

"What?!" I looked at him speechlessly.

But wait! I haven't agreed to his rejection. But so what! I will just agree.

"I, Layla Erlod Agree to break the Mate's bond!"

I as I finished speaking, I clutched my chest that suddenly hurt so much.

Just when I thought I've gotten over it, tears fell from my eyes once again.

It hurts so much

What the hell?! No one told me this was going to hurt!! 

I raised me head and looked at Maxwell but he looked well and ok, but I know that he also felt the same way that I did.

"Since the bond is broken, Maxwell can I ask you a question?"

"What is it?"

"Have you ever loved me?" I asked the question which has been in my mind.

"Wait! All these time, when you kept telling me that you don't like physical contacts, you don't like saying words like I love you or Miss you. Have your heart ever for once beat for me?" I asked the question in a more detailed way.

"No!" He replied plainly with no emotions.

"Oh? I see it now. I wolfless girl like me us not worthy of staying by your side, you should have made it clear and stop giving me the hopes that we get married" I muttered.

"Layla it's enough!" Mr. Erlod reminded me.

"No it's not enough! Since it has reached this extent why don't I continue." I shook my head because I know deep down it won't stop here.

I can't stay here any longer,

"You Blame me for the loss of your daughter, but who do I blame for not knowing anything about my parents. I also want my parents..." I wiped the tears from my eyes.

But do they want me?

"Who is that man on Sliver Mask?" I glanced at Maxwell and asked after making a big decision in my mind.

"Don't do anything stupid!" Mr. Erlod pulled me.

"I'm no longer your daughter and you have no right to tell me what to do!" I Reminded him coldly and made my way to the seat of the Man on Sliver and Black.

The closer I get, the most pressure I felt emanating from him.

"Hello!" I muttered.

I watched him open his eyes and it stopped at me. Even though I couldn't see his face, the Red bottomless eyes were enough to draw him.

I moved my eyes away from his eyes after I felt a pull from it.

He still looked at me silently.

"You are the one that tried to kill me today, Do you remember?" I asked him but no one spoke.

"Hello, Did you hear what I just said?" I asked again.

"So?" I heard him reply

"So?! Are you kidding me right now? When you threw that knife at me didn't you plan to kill me?" I asked him.

"Noisy!" He muttered as next a man stood in front of him.

"Miss you have to leave!" The man looked at me and said.

"I won't leave, You have to compensate me!" I pouted not wanting to give up.

"Layla! Stop causing troubles everywhere" Maxwell reprimanded.

"Please do me a favor and just shut up!" I fired at him

I don't care who this man in front of me is but I know he has the power to take me out of this place.

"Please leave!!" The Person who stood in front of me reminded me again.

"Ok ok wait! I have only one request!" I bit my lips and decided to gamble with my life.

"It doesn't matter if you let me go on or not but I will still say it!" I continued.

"I want you to...." Hmmm ! Breathe in! Out! 

I did some psychological sighs before I continue,

"Miss Don't make me throw you out!"

"I WANT YOU TO MARRY ME!"
