Alpha's game

Dreams.

They were not meaningless, we just had to find the hidden meaning behind them, that's what my mother used to say.

My mother had given up hope of ever having children but then she started seeing a baby in her dreams. It was a hope she needed, she was sure she would have a child and then I came into the picture. She used to call me her miracle baby...I wanted to laugh at it now.

But unlike her dreams, my dreams were not happy. They were not filled with rainbows and butterflies they were filled with dead people and blood.

A sigh escaped from my lips, I could not get the nightmare out of my head.

Whenever I closed my eyes, I could still see the dead bodies lying on the ground...those children.

"Are you okay?"

Bernadette was staring at me with a worried look.

I gave her a smile, "I am fine."

"Are you sure? You look...tired?."

I observed her, she was sitting in front of me wearing sweatpants and a tank top with popcorn between her arms. She was taking a break from her duties,
