CHAPTER TWELVE

Something heavy was constricting me, causing me to open my eyes and be welcomed by the beautiful features of Giovanni’s face close to mine. When I looked down, I noticed that his hand was on my waist, mine on his too, his foot crossed over mine, and his front touched mine.
